The story follows a reincarnated general that fought tirelessly to win against a unearthly invader. However, despite winning the war, he was disgraced and dishonored, and after a series of events, he led a large scale rebellion that lasted for nearly a decade. Despite his brilliance in war, he could do nothing about the logistics of maintaining the war as it progressed into a war of attrition. This caused his eventual defeat and capture which led to his execution. Reincarnated in the future, he is born into a commoner family in a world in which wealth and influence matters more than merit and ability.
