The line between good and evil is thin. This couldn't be any truer for Rudolph who walks the border between light and darkness. When a mysterious encounter leads him to another world, Rudolph believes his chance to live peacefully had finally arrived. Except fate has other plans for him. Thrown into a long drawn strife between arcane powers, Rudolph tatters on the verge of losing the only thing he has; his sanity. Will he succumb to the darkness that threatens to engulf him or will he find a way to live alongside it? (Just a quick written synopsis. Will change it once the novel gets approved.) --------------------------------- The story may lose its pace at certain points but be assured that it will get back on track. This is necessary to build the plot and the world at a deeper level and make it easier for the reader to understand. It should be understandable since it is also tagged as a slice of life. ---------------------------------- The chapters would be around 2000-2500 words. ------------------------------------ Note: The author is not a native English speaker so certain typos and grammar errors may arise during the earlier chapters.
