To live life freely without any semblance of shackles, sharing and being shared stories from all walks of life is what Laincelot the wandering Bard lived for. His journey, however, ended abruptly. A touch of heavenly light landed all of his skills along with his memories to Loyd Carter, his reincarnation, the Duke of Rivellon's seventh son who faced disownment because of a dark plot. Always living selfishly in his past life, he vowed to care for everyone he cared for in this one. Alas, even though his skills as a Bard had reached legendary status, he was just one man, one pawn, facing the entire legion of chess pieces.
