'...And it was believed Dragons came from fairy tales... who knew that they actually came from the sky and beyond our atmosphere?.... Alex Crawford is an average guy, average life, beautiful fiancée, starting an average day but he's targeted and kidnapped for some sort of experimental warfare programme involving Dragons. Next thing that Alex knows he or rather, she wakes up essentially in a prison, initially struggles to come to terms with her new body, which also subsequently has a condition that if kept unsupported will result in her death. Will her attempts to escape and gain her old life back succeed? Will she even want it back in the end? Time will tell as Alex, becomes a 'heroin' suppose you could say, that she never really planned on being. Things get rougher for her as the story continues, will she survive?...' An action/adventure type story, with a bit of saucy romance to come later on. This picks up from exactly where my other story, 'The Shard', left off, which is a short prelude to this one, introducing a few of the main characters and their back stories, you may want to read that first to get acquainted. (Side note: I use song titles as chapter titles (With the artist in brackets at the footnote of the chapter). These are either meant to represent the mood of the chapter or usually the song at one point or another has got me through some tough times and means a lot to me. SO... as a little disclaimer, I do not own the rights to any of these tracks, merely showing my love for them.)
