"God that was awful..." Drenched in sweat, Darwin who was currently laying on the ground, looked up to see a system panel hovering before him. Overwhelmed by the soreness left over from his night of torture, he tried to read it, yet all he could see was a blurry mess of jumbled letters and words. "Damn it...." After spending some time struggling to understand it, a sudden realization crashed down on him, he didn't have his glasses. Sighing, he began squinting in order to try and eventually managed to make out what was being said.
[The System has finished the installation process!]
"What the hell." Annoyed at the message, a sneer began to form on his face as anger rose in his heart. "What kind of sadist would design something like that to be so painful?" Overwhelmed by the sheer amount of displeasure he felt, the pain that kept him on the ground was slowly forgotten about. "I swear if I can get my hands on the bastard that caused this, I-" Before he could finish his sentence another panel appeared before him, this time close enough for him to properly read it without issue. "You know what... forget it." Letting out a soft sigh, he got up from the ground, and following him, the panel rose up as well.
[Welcome to Earth, the land of the gods!]
"Earth..." After taking a glance at it, Darwin began to question something. "Is this really Earth?" Focusing his gaze on the forest he found himself in, he couldn't help but think of this place as a foreign planet. Here and there lied a patch of mushrooms nearly the size of a person, whilst the trees making up the forest itself all possessed leaves that were a bluish silver in color. "The plant life in here is so different... if this is Earth, it definitely isn't the one I lived in." Turning his gaze away from the forest, he started taking a more detailed look at the sword that gave him his miserable night.
"Hopefully this thing has some use..." He muttered as he glanced at it. "If not, I hope it doesn't make go through that pain again." After staring at it for a while, he slowly began to approach it. As beads of sweat began to fall down Darwin's face, his trembling hand made its way towards the hilt of the sword. "Please don't be cursed. Please don't be cursed. Please don't be cursed." Repeating that one mantra in his head over and over again, he managed to carefully grab ahold of the sword. "Ah!" Surprised that nothing had happened, Darwin revealed a worried smile. "I guess it's fine to touch the sword now." He muttered. "Now I just need to pull it out." Putting some strength in his arms, he slowly began to pull out the sword, yet before he could do so completely, another panel had appeared.
[Traveler's Blade - A dull iron sword capable of awakening the hidden power of people. It was the first and last weapon used by the spirit sword saint. Due to a curse from an unknown god, only those without talent in the sword can wield it.]
"AH!." Surprised by the sudden panel, he let go of the sword. It was only after a brief moment, that he realized that it was just a panel. "Damn it..." After reading it he facepalmed. "I'm an idiot..." Letting out an embarrassed sigh, he slowly began to regain his composure.
[Please extract the sword to complete the dungeon.]
Popping up in the middle of this, another panel appeared.
"This is... a dungeon?" Surprised, he stared at the sword for a moment. 'Is this some kind of tutorial dungeon or something?" He thought as he remembered the fact he didn't encounter any monsters. "Let's just forget about all of that for now." After digesting the information stopped distracting himself. "Let's just finish this." Grabbing the sword once again, he pulled it out with little difficulty.

As the sword was freed from its stone prison, it began to radiate a bright golden light before wrapping around Darwin and melting into his body.
"Ah!" Surprised with a bewildered expression on his face, he began to check for any changes in his body. "What to the sword!?" As he panicked, three panels began to appear.
[As a traveler from distant lands you awakened the trait "Foreigner!"]
[The Traveler's Blade is resonating with your trait "Foreigner!" it has chosen you to become its new owner!]
[As the owner of the Traveler's Blade you unlocked the class "Swordsman" and gained the ability to call upon the sword in your time of need!]
After glancing at all of them his confusion only grew, but before he could even think about questioning what was happening, a portal appeared beside him.
[Please leave the Dungeon before it is destroyed.]
"Shit!" After seeing the content of the panel Darwin immediately hoped into it.
A/N - Sorry for the late update and smaller chapter. After feeling it out writing this chapter I can say that for the most part, I've gotten over my writer's block so the time between updates shouldn't go beyond a week or so. Along with that, I'll be writing some other stories on the side some fanfics others not. I'll also be rewriting this chapter as I did with the previous one since I don't feel 100% satisfied with the quality of it. I won't be changing too much so the people who read this version won't be confused later on.
