"Please don't! I will get you the money!" A man cried.
"If that was true then you would have already!"
An elderly old man with his grandson stood in the abandoned parking lot. A gun held to his head by the lanky young man dressed in a striped navy blue suit. He had blood streaming from a wound on the left side of his face and he was struggling to stay standing.
The old man's hands shook, trembling with anxiety and fear.
In front of him was a man holding a shotgun, pointing it at the grandfather who now stood frozen in place as if he didn't know what to do. His eyes were wide as he tried to make sense of what was happening. His mind raced trying to think of an escape route but he knew it would be fruitless. In just a few minutes he'd probably be dead anyway, there was no way he could out run this guy and with the boy.
"Don't worry I will take care of your kid!" He shouted.
Pulling the trigger of the gun he shot the elderly man straight through the heart, sending both the man and grandson sprawling to the ground as the old man bled onto the pavement. The elderly man's body twitched and he gasped for air as he died, unable to move.
The teen turned towards the boy who was breathing heavily and looked down into the old man's lifeless face with shock. With one more glance at his corpse he grabbed the boy and ran as fast as he could away from the scene. They sprinted through alleys and around corners, barely making it out alive when they heard the police sirens.
"Move now!" The man shouted.
The pair ran until their legs gave out under them. They collapsed to the ground, gasping for breath. Tears streamed down the boys face and they were covered in sweat. The old man laid next to his son who struggled to breathe in between coughing.
"Do not say a word..." He whispered.
"But my grandpa!" The boy protested.
"You can cry for him later... Now we need to hide." He said as he pulled the young boy behind him, pressing up against the wall of the alleyway. They peered out to see the cops approaching slowly. They quickly moved back from the opening so they weren't seen.
Pulling out a cigarette he lit it waiting for sirens to stop and turn the corner. As they did he blew smoke out the open exit and watched the cop car pull up. They stared at each other as the door opened and three officers walked out. They were all talking among themselves, looking in all directions. The older one noticed something odd though as he glanced back towards the end of the alley.
He took out his gun. The boy shuddered. The man put his hand over his mouth. Slowly the man walked forward, keeping his gaze focused on the cops. He raised his arm slightly, waving his fingers like the old man had done earlier and the police officer saw him. They stopped talking and began walking towards where the old man’s body was.
"Hands up!" A cop yelled. "Show me your hands!"
He pointed his gun at the man and the boy beside him. His eyes widened as one of them started laughing, a shrill laugh, almost hysterical. A grin spread across the officers face as they approached closer.
As the man reached the cop he raised his hand again. This time he made sure to wave his whole hand. The policemen stopped moving immediately, their eyes glued to where his hand had been dropping the gun from his fingers.
Smoke billowed around him as he began falling to the ground. The man screamed as the fire spread further across his skin. Within seconds he was gone.
The other two officers stood still for a moment before turning to run away. The older man stepped forwards and took out another weapon to shove his gun in the younger officer's face before he could even run off.
"Do you know who I am you pig of a cop?" He asked.
The young man froze completely. Fear flashed in his eyes.
"Answer me, or I shoot your partner." He snarled.
Before the younger officer could answer another person came running past them screaming for help. It was another officer, and it seemed he was calling for backup. He was yelling at his partner to hurry the hell up.
The older officer turned to look at the new arrival.
"Anyways my name is Falan and pigs die!" Falan shouted.
One after another with the snap of his finger the cops combust into flames. The young man fell to the ground. The old man smirked as he watched the flames spread across his partner's chest. He looked up. The officer in charge of the incident was staring straight at him, and in response Falan smirked wider.
The officer backed away, his gun pointing at Falan who flicks his wrist exploding the man 's brains across the asphalt.
"It seems that someone has found out our secret." Falan said, grinning broadly.
The officer nodded. He was pale, sweating profusely.
Falan walked over to the officer who was still lying in the road. The young man scrambled to his feet and attempted to run away but Falan caught him by the collar and forced him to look directly into the officers eyes. He smirked.
"I wouldn't run if I were you." he sneered.
He threw the man to the floor and he crumpled instantly.
"What are we going to do now?" Falan asked, rubbing his hands together.
Folan grinned evilly as he strode over to the unconscious man. He crouched down beside him and placed his foot on his neck.
"Now this will hurt." Falan muttered.
Then with one swift motion he twisted his ankle causing the man to scream. Falan leaned in close to his ear.
"This is going to feel good isn't it? You're going to feel everything. Every ounce of pain you've ever felt." Falan hissed.

"No..."
Falan chuckled softly. "Yes. But if you scream, it'll just be because I ordered you to." He said as he got up.
With a sigh he turned and made his way towards where the other cops were still standing. He walked slowly, casually sauntering as he walked towards them. He ignored them as they tried to run, but Falan was quick to shoot them down once they got close enough.
The rest of them soon realised they were outnumbered, so they stopped, trying desperately to escape as best as possible. Unfortunately for them Falan was quicker than they were and they eventually gave up and lay on the ground.
Falan smiled as he looked down at them, his bloodied clothes glistening in the glow of the street lamp. He kneeled beside one man who was crying loudly and clutched his head. His hair and clothing were smeared in blood. Falan laughed as he kicked the man in the face.
"Don't you have some sort of self respect?!" He scolded him.
The man whimpered quietly. Falan raised his foot again, ready to kick this pathetic excuse of a man. When he hesitated the sound of footsteps made him pause. He turned, only to see a group of officers racing toward them.
"Run!" he shouted.
They began running as fast as they could, Falan was faster snapping his fingers igniting the others bodies along the way. After several minutes of fleeing the police finally caught up to them. Falan laughed gleefully as he watched them approach. He raised his arms.
"Come and get me boys!!!" He shouted gleefully as they closed in.
Suddenly the entire area was filled with fire, lighting every single policeman on fire and spreading throughout the whole street. Some screamed in agony and fell to the ground writhing in pain while others were thrown aside. All the flames that had burned across the entire street now erupted into flames in the centre of the square.
Flames engulfed the buildings, setting the cars ablaze. The police were screaming in horror as they rushed to put out the flames, but it was too late. As much as he enjoyed watching them burn, Falan wasn't stupid. He knew how to use fire and he knew it would kill the cops.
The boy looked on horrified by how Falan easily was killing the people in front of him. Falan smiled. He loved seeing people suffer, especially humans. There was nothing sweeter to him then seeing them squirm in terror and suffering under the heat and fire.
As the last of the police were burning, Falan turned and looked around at his work before turning back and facing the boy.
"Good, well Neel, I think it is about time that we go to your new home," Falan said as he walked towards the child and extended his arm. "Come, let us go home now."
Falan took the kids hands as he grabbed onto his shoulders. Then with another snap of his fingers he was transported to the top of a building.
The boy gasped. His legs trembled as he held onto Falan tighter, afraid of slipping off the roof. Falan chuckled.
"It's alright, you don't want to fall do you?" He asked.
"Ya.. no sir." Neel mumbled.
Together they walk to the door adjacent to the stairs. Falan pulled out the keyring to unlock the door. Once inside he locked it behind him. As he did he glanced back at the boy who was looking around nervously. Falan sighed.
"I'm not going to bite you." He said.
They strolled down the creaky steps as he continued speaking.
"I can tell you're scared Neel. Don't worry, it won't take long until you learn what I do."
When they reached the bottom he turned around.
"Come with me." he said with a smile.
The room downstairs was filled with men dressed in black suits . In front of each of them sat an open box filled with a variety of different types of guns, knives, bullets and grenades. One of the men spoke up.
"I see you brought that man's kid here?"
"Take him to the torture room..." Falan stated.
"Right away." The man replied getting up.
The man led the trembling boy to the elevator, pressing the button to take him down to the proclaimed torture room. Once the doors opened they stepped inside the small metal room. Before closing the door the man gestured with his head towards a chair at the side of the room.
They strip searched him, pulling his jacket off to expose his skinny frame and his belt, searching it for anything else dangerous they might find. Once they were satisfied that there wasn't anything of importance there the one holding the handcuffs removed their grip, allowing them to pull him from the chair and lead him towards a bed with restraints attached to it.
Neel sat stiffly in the chair as they strapped him down. Falan came with a set of needles sitting a chair beside the boy . He picked one up examining it carefully. He smiled darkly before walking over to him.
"I have something else special for you Neel. And it's something I've been wanting to test on someone…you know my ability I was using earlier?" Falan said, raising the needle.
He stared at the needle as he gently ran it through the flesh of Neel's forearm. The boy yelped slightly at the sudden contact as sweat dripped down the side of his face. The man chuckled as he pressed another needle into Neel's wrist, and watched closely.
"Do me a favour Neel." Falan muttered, staring intently at him as he stabbed the boy repeatedly. "And enjoy the pain..."
A loud scream could be heard outside the door as men in black waited for Falan came out covered in blood. The two guards stood by the door, smiling menacingly. One of them nodded to the other and then pushed opened the door, stepping through.
"He hasn't died it looks..." Falan explained.
