Chapter 41: Ch. 41

"You're strong! But not as strong as me!" Thor yelled while wrestling with Duy.

Thor doesn't know any fighting techniques, except for punching, kicking, tackling, head bashing, and head locking.

He learned those from Vikings when he first came down to earth.

With a punch from Duy, Thor's nose was broken and bleeding while still grinning.

"Come one! Is that all you've got!" Thor yelled and laughed while Duy stared at him confusedly.

'Is he a masochist?' Duy's opinion of Thor slowly dwindled.

"Who do you think is gonna win?" Shang-Chi asks them while his foot is stepping on the royal guard that he fought earlier.

"Of course, Duy's gonna win, after all, I heard from the rumors that Thor, relies too much on his hammer," Akeno replied while strangling Sif using her whip.

Meanwhile, Gasper just used his dark magic to hold Loki's movements so Loki could do nothing but just watch Thor being manhandled by Duy.

The other 2 royal guards are unconscious on the floor.

On the battlefield, Thor was tanking Duy's punches while the floor he was standing on kept cracking under the pressure of Duy's punch.

"Come on friend! You can't even keep up with my Riiiivaaaalll!" Duy shouted while glancing at his rival, Shang-Chi who was chatting with Akeno.

"Rival? Someone as mighty as you have a rival?!" Thor confusedly asks while at the same time he is sad because his friend doesn't consider him as his rival.

"Let's ignore that and finish this fight!" Duy jumped back to give Thor a breathing space.

"Let's finish this in one move!" Duy informed him before spreading his legs and placing his left hand behind his back and right hand to the front.

Thor also did the same but his stance doesn't have the appeal of a combat master, it is more like a brawler.

Duy shook his head at him, 'Still the same stance, friend.' Soon, with both of them in their stanc-.

"Raaahhh!" It seems like Thor does not have enough patience anymore and charges.

"Still the old same Thor." Duy chuckled and also charged at the running Thor.

"For Asgard!" Thor shouted while delivering his full-powered punch.

"Youth!!!!" Duy copied Thor and yelled back.

Fist to Fist, both of their fist met each other, producing shockwaves everywhere and filling the place with dust.

Blasts of wind pushed everyone back while the spectators outside the dimension were eager to know who won.

Some said Thor won because he is a God while some said Duy because he is a son of a Master. But the Majority sided with Duy making Odin grumble silently.

Due to the shockwave, clouds of dust covered the vicinity until after a few seconds of waiting, the dust settles and it reveals Thor, kneeling on the ground while his arms are broken, bloodied and bones were protruding from his shoulder.

Meanwhile, In front of Thor is Duy who has a reddened fist but not enough to bleed.

"You lost again, friend." Duy smiles at him while Thor just painfully grins.

Thor felt a shadow covering his vision, so he lifted his head and saw Duy offering his hand to him.

Thor smiles and used his available hand to grab his hand and slowly stands up.

Meanwhile, everyone who saw this will be the witness to the start of the eternal friendship.

As if the heavens were acknowledging their friendship, sunlight spotted them while birds sang in the background.

"Hah! Gayyyyy!!" Loki used to chance to mock both of them.

Of course, Duy and Thor ignored him while Leslie points her rifle at Loki's temple.

"Don't disturb the touching moment," Leslie muttered slightly.

Loki grumbled but still followed her and kept silent while staring at his dumb brother.

'We're not here to make friends! We're here to win! Stupid!' Loki complained in his mind but he didn't say it out loud, he knew that Leslie will surely shoot him.

"It is time we part ways, friend," Duy told Thor while Thor nodded at his words and slowly walked to his teammates.

Seeing Thor walking to them, the Sorcerer team freed the Norse team and just watched them leave.

Sif and Loki glared at them before also leaving.

"Why didn't we eliminate them?" Gasper confusedly asks, isn't he the vice-leader here? Why did it seem like he has no saying here?

"Tell me. If our enemy is Valerie, will you also eliminate her?" Akeno asks him, which was answered immediately.

"Of course not! She's my crus- friend!" Gasper almost slipped but still managed to keep his secret.

Although Akeno was a bit weirded out by the stutter, she still managed to reply, "Then there goes your answer.", then she walks away but not without grabbing Shang-Chi's arm, who sighs again.

"Let's go. I heard that there are temples here where you could use temporary artifacts that are founded there." Leslie spoke before following them. She's excited about what type of artifact it is and wished that it is a weapon type.

Duy patted Gasper's shoulder before also following, leaving Gasper who just stayed there while thoughts were running on his mind.

'They're so cool!' It seems like the inner Gasper was leaking out.

Gasper soon realized that he was left out, "Wait for me!" He runs and follows them not knowing that someone was spying on them.

"They're running towards the north," Kiaan stated, currently, he's using the maximum power of his eye that allows him to see 5km far.

Although it is impressive, it puts a strain on his vision, and if it continues like this there's a possibility that he'll lose his vision forever.

"Let's follow them!" Nihut grins while making a hot blue flame on his palm.

"Idiot! Don't forget that Shivaji told us to avoid the sorcerers at all cost." Aakil, who was the brain of the team, reminds them.

(A/N: I don't know if adding -Ji at the end of a name is a proper way to show respect to someone in India. I'm not an Indian so I just googled it.)

"Then, what's the point of calling ourselves as the Hindu pantheon's strongest generation?!" Tuhin yelled back and defended his brother.

"But Shivaji said-" Aakil who was speaking was cut off by her brother, Aahan.

"Let them be." Aahan's words pressure them making them look at him in fear.

Aahan was always the favorite due to his special bloodline that was special only to him.

His bloodline hasn't been named yet, but his bloodline only contains one ability, and that is the angrier he gets the stronger he is.

There is even one time when his angriness reached its peak and could go toe to toe with a middle-rank ultimate class being and to reach the peak of angriness, his sister, Aakil will cast a strong illusion on him and show him scenes that will make him angry.

But of course, there is a catch to such power and that is the angrier he is, the more his consciousness slips out until he becomes a mindless beast that only knows destruction around him.

He could be called a trump card of the Hindu Pantheon.

"Wha- brother! You know that Shivaji-." Aakil was not surprisingly a bit angry by her brother's decision.

"Woohoo! What are you waiting for?! Let's go and follow them." Nihut was excited and can't wait anymore so he doesn't bother his teammates and run off on his own.

"Wait! Brother!" Tuhin called out to him and seeing that he was not listening, he just sighs and follows him.

"Brother! You know that Shivaji warns us abo-" Aakil tried to reason with her brother but was cut off by him.

"If they want to die early then let them be. We have no use of someone who can't control their emotions." Aahan coldly said before turning around and walking away leaving Aakil staring at his back and Kiaan who has been quiet all this time.
