When Jiraiya saw all the chakra tails forming behind Yuki, his eyes went wide. "Not good!" Without any hesitation, he took out a handful of talismans and threw them into the air. They soared out in different directions as Jiraiya's fingers were quickly forming seals. "Gofū Kekkai!"
"Jiraiya, what is going on?" A man with spiky silver hair and a headband covering his left eye landed next to Jiraiya. When he saw the little girl with fox ears and twenty tails, he froze. "This…"
"Kakashi it's good you are here, use the Kirigakure no Jutsu. Then get more jonin to handle the witnesses." Jiraiya yelled out. He had to keep things from spreading too far. Luckily he had only sensed a few people who had seen what was going on.
"Right!" Kakashi snapped out of his daze and quickly formed his hand signs. "Kirigakure no Jutsu!"
Soon the area began to be enveloped in mist, blocking prying eyes from being able to see what was going on. Only when Kakashi saw that things were set did he disappear to finish the final task that Jiraiya asked of him.
Jiraiya let out a small sigh. "Gamakichi, you go back. Thank you."
"Right'O!" Gamakichi saluted Jiraiya before vanishing in a puff of smoke.
Jiraiya shot forward and entered the sealed off area. He only stopped when he was about a hundred feet from Yuki. "What is going on…."
Jiraiya couldn't understand it. It looked as if Yuki was stabbed through the heart by a sword, but he could not see the sword, never mind what was holding it. [Don't think too much. She will be fine.]
A voice entered Jiraiya's head, his eyes falling on Yuki, whose tails were swaying back and forth. The temperature in the area suddenly began to plummet, and snow began to fall from the sky. "This…"
At this moment, Yuki was feeling her consciousness fading. She was cursing herself for being tricked by the damn voice. But she reacted without much thought. She looked down at the sword pierced through her chest and felt a bit of regret. [Don't despair. I will begin now.]
Yuki found her body growing cold. Very, very cold. Rukia, who was still in a state of shock, suddenly felt a suction pulling on her body. "Wait? What is going on!?"
Rukia felt as if her powers were being stripped from her body. Not only that, but it also felt as if her entire being was being sucked in. [During my time, there was a saying that one must die to be reborn.]
[Sode no Shirayuki, I will merge part of my power within you, help this little one grow.]
One of the twenty tails swaying about behind Yuki suddenly disappeared. A bright flash of light filled the area before slowly dimming down, causing even Jiraiya to shut his eyes. When he could open them again, what he saw, was a young girl was now standing on the other side of the hollow, a solid white sword resting on her shoulder. On her body was a white shinigami uniform. Her white hair fluttered even though there was no wind. Her blue eyes glowed with a dim light as she turned around to look at the hollow.
The hollow's body slowly began to sway before suddenly splitting in half and turning into particles of light. Seeing this, Yuki let out a sigh of relief but, at the same time, felt a little empty. "Rukia, I'm sorry…."
"You should be sorry! Why am I inside your body with some strange fox girl!?" Rukia's voice filled Yuki's mind causing her to freeze.

"Inside?" Yuki was confused, not understanding what was going on.
[I merged the little shinigami into your body, and at the same time, I gave you all her powers. The sword in your hand is modified a bit so you can use it in the real world as well as the shinigami clothes you are wearing. Little girl, your life from now will not be easy.]
"It's fine…. Can I ask who you are?" Yuki wanted to know the name of the being who was talking to her. She already felt strange knowing Rukia was inside her, but she at least spoke to Rukia and knew her name. As for this mysterious female fox, she had no idea where she came from.
[You can call me Khione. Until we meet again….]
"Wait, I still want to ask you more…." Yuki had many questions, but it seemed she would not get any response any time soon. Yuki sighed and looked down at her body clad in a white robe that matched Rukia's black one and sighed once more.
"Don't worry, Yuki, I have many questions too. But for now, it seems we're are stuck like this." Rukia had never heard of a shinigami being merged into another body. She was able to see and hear everything that Yuki was able to, but she still had her own mind and memories, which was strange. If she could return to the soul society, she may be able to find out something, but right now, there seemed to be no way.
"Yuki!" Jiraiya saw that things had calmed down. His heart was elated to see that Yuki seemed to be alright, but the way she looked now gave off a strong pressure he had never felt before.
Yuki began to panic when Jiraiya came over. She had just gotten herself a guardian, while she had told him everything, she did not know if he would now see her as a threat. But to her surprise, Jiraiya picked her up and hugged her. "It's good that you are okay…."
"Jiraiya about this…." Yuki wanted to start to explain, but Jiraiya put her down and placed his big palm on her head.
"This is not the place. We will need to go see the Hokage. You can explain everything there." Jiraiya figured it would be best to have the Hokage hear everything as well. This way, if he was not around, and something happened the Hokage would know what to do. Luckily this time he was around and everything was easily concealed. But if he was not and word got out, then Yuki would become a target of many.
