Chapter 24: 24

Chapter 24 The strong and the weak.

“You’ve hit the jackpot, sister. Absolutely no chance of winning in a place like this.”

Rhode took control of the other two slums.

But there were no deaths.

They carefully investigated the resistants without any senseless slaughter.

He then secured the slum’s people and ordered them to be treated as third-class citizens.

The irresistible slum people are taken by the soldiers at their mercy.

It was so swift that the slum people did not even understand what was happening.

“Well, let’s go. Us too.”

Their worst enemy begins his advance.

The ever-victorious commander, the ruler of the world.

No defeat before him, not a single defeat.

The genius who drove the EU to the brink of destruction.

Rhode heads for the battlefield where Kenya fights.

“Hey, Gillian. Is there really a resistance? I’ve killed them, and they haven’t come out.”

“Some of them are in military uniforms. I thought the KOG that was taken away from us would have come out by now.!!, they came out as we were going.”

One KOG appears in front of Yumir, who has been slaughtering them continuously.

Gillian sees that it is an enemy, as it does not give off any signals to identify it as an ally.

“An inferior species operates the KOG. It is a weapon that is too much for you guys. Oh?”

The KOG standing in front of him communicates in open chat.

“I want to ask you guys, why do you kill them? They are just normal civilians.”

The pilot is Kenya.

He throws himself at the imperial Yumir.

‘Keep your anger in check and be as calm as possible.

If you’re a soldier, you must be prepared to die, and we’re in conflict as the Resistance.

I won’t deny that they fought. I still understand why they are killed.

But.

The view from the cockpit.

In his field of vision, he sees a lot of dead bodies, and Kenya looks bitterly at them.

“You have no reason to kill unarmed people!”

“You say interesting things. First of all, your perception is wrong. You are an inferior species. You are pigs in human skin. Do you need permission to hunt pigs?”

“We are human beings, we are no different from you.”

“Oh no no no, you don’t get it, do you? Or maybe it’s because you’re an inferior species. At least be smart enough to communicate with us.”

“I see. …… That’s enough.”

“What?”

“Shut up …!”

Keen!

Immediately afterwards, Kenya came right in front of Yumir’s KOG.

Then he slashed down with his huge sword.

However, the attack is repelled by the KOG’s sword, which intervenes.

“Yumir-sama, please step back.”

‘Try not to kill him and drag him out, Gillian. I must educate that man.’

“I am sorry, Yumir-sama. Ugh.”

Kenya repels the sword vigorously and takes a short distance away.

Gillian, the chief imperial holy knight, looks straight at Kenya with her sword at the ready.

Sweat is pouring down his forehead.

“It doesn’t look like an opponent with that kind of leeway left.”

The two men then cut each other off.

Gillian understood immediately.

“This enemy is strong, so strong that even if I fight with all my might, I may still not be able to make it.”

“Bullshit……'”

Yumir could not believe what she saw.

Yumir, who herself operates a KOG, has a certain amount of skill.

Although not to the level of a properly trained knight, she can still at least operate it and can fight to a certain extent.

So she knows Gillian’s strength and trusts him.

I have never seen him struggle in practice.

And yet.

“What the hell! What the hell are you! He’s the head of the Holy Knights!!”

“Chief Holy Knight? ‘So there’s a difference in power amongst the chiefs of the Holy Knights?”

(Sieg-san was much stronger than him. I wish I could have fought with Sieg-san when he was in active service. I bet he was much stronger.)

Gillian, who was calm, shows impatience.

Every time I cut him, I feel the difference in technique.

With each strike, he takes damage somewhere.

“Yo-you, what are you doing! Gillian!”

“Damn it, shit!”

“Have you got the hang of it a bit?”

A metallic sound echoed across the battlefield.

Huge swords clash against each other. One was held tightly. The other flying through the air.

“No way …… am I going to lose, am I?”

The sword flies far backwards, struck straight into the ground.

“The feelings of those who are weak, those who are overrun by violence!”

Then, Kenya’s single swing of the sword slashed Gillian’s KOG in half.

The KOG, severed in half, ignited, exploded, and was silenced.

“I’m sorry, …… Yumir sama….”

“Wh-What on? Gillian?”

Yumir could not believe the sight.

So she spoke to the blackened KOG, which had already stopped moving.

“What are you doing? ‘You’re dealing with an inferior species, remember? Get up. How can we lose? Gillian?”

“The miserable one there, you’re the pathetic Imperial brainwashed Imperial princess, Right?”

Kenya’s KOG walks towards Yumir.

Slowly and surely, he closes the gap.

Dragging his huge sword, he sprays the sound of death.

“F**k you! I am Yumir! I am the ruler of the world! I am the strong! The weak and the strong are not the order of nature! Why won’t you obey me!”

Yumir backs away.

Sensing something unfathomable about the human front of her.

She did not know what that feeling was.

Until now, I’ve been on the side of the powerful, and the world has turned out the way I thought it would.

I even thought the world belonged to me.

What is this feeling?

“Obey me! I am the Princess! Stop! Stop!”

The Imperial Princess falls backwards, stumbles over the debris, and falls on its arse.

“That’s the fear. That’s what the people you’ve been waving around and taking away from us feel. It’s a natural human emotion to protect what you hold dear and including one’s very life.”

Kenya’s single sword slashed both legs of Yumir’s KOG.

The immobile Yumir can only flail about and lash out miserably on the spot.

“Me fear? I die? Me die? No, no, no, no! I still want to kill more! I still want to take more! No, no, no, no, no, no!”

“It’s your belief, isn’t it? Then you’re not complaining, are you? You are weak! The weak are to be trampled. Then go on and die convinced!”

“Noooo!”

Kenya’s single strike cuts Yumir’s KOG in two.

Or it was supposed to.

Keen.!!!

The sound of metal hitting metal echoes around the area.

“Heh?”

Yumir, covered in sweat and with disheveled hair.

Yumir, whose hair has been messed out in fear, sees an unfamiliar KOG.

A beautiful KOG, studded with pale pink, as if cherry blossoms were waiting on the snow.

“This KOG… could.”

Kenya, who was too angry to see his surroundings, could not recognize it.

But he did recognize the voice in the open chat call.

“Yumir-sama, please leave this place to me and run away. Rhode-sama has arrived.”

“Ah, ah! You did well. Well done! You, what’s your name?”

That cherry-red KOG held up a huge sword and pointed it at Kenya.

It was a familiar voice.

A pleasant, cold but sweet voice heard every day.

But it was pointed at me, and it was definitely on that blade.

It was a genuine hostility that had never been directed at me by her before.

“Reina. I am Reina Sylphide, a member of the 13th Special District Military Training School.”

The killing intent.
