Chapter 5: (S1) Ch5: No noodles?

Putting the Vision's compass back to the inventory for the moment and closing the system, I headed down and chose a random seat. As the situation calmed down, like humans, they're already minding their own business. They must be thinking how strong I am.

Well, are those two kids planning to just stand there now that their friend Jerk left? Oh, I mean, Jake? Still, Jake is so unfortunate to be called  with such a petty name, I know he doesn't care but I can feel his pain.

Anyways, I realized that I mindlessly sat here, but I guess I'll be ordering dinner for tonight. I'm not that hungry, though I'll eventually eat my first meal in this world. The foods from the game looks good, so I hope this inn can offer me the same quality at least.

"Sir, would you like to eat something?"

While contemplating my thoughts, the waiter appeared and asked. I can also see that he's nervous, even if he's trying to act professional. That's completely fine, I'm used to peasants fearing me. Now, I wonder what they have...

"Do you have noodles? Any kind, just noodles."

"Noodles?"

"Yes, noodles kid, noodles."

"...I'm sorry sir, but I don't know what's...noodles. Here's our available menu." He handed me some cardboard he was holding.

Sigh, I knew it. I don't remember the game having noodles, but I really hope noodles is just unavailable in this place. Of course, it wasn't a problem in the game, but now, I can't possibly live without it.

"How about any pasta?"

"We don't have pasta either, sir."

"...never mind."

If it's really the same as the game where noodles doesn't exist, I'll just have to create it! That way, this world can taste the greatness of noodles. Oh well, I still want to eat right now, so...

"Hey mister violet hair, I recommend their Rabbit stew. It's their best selling here."

All of a sudden, this Anna, the girl from earlier is now in front of me. Rabbit huh, I want to try how it taste, it's always compared to chicken. But, isn't she so lively? Acting as if noting happened.

"Anna! Don't be rude-and umm, mister, sorry for troubling you earlier. And erm, thank you very much." Paul added while lowering his head.

"What? Is violet hair also no good?"

Even nicknaming someone you just met, huh. Good to see them happy.

"Hmm, I don't mind. Helping the weak gives me pleasure."

"...weak..."

"Anna, right? I was having a hard time choosing so I appreciate your recommendation. Boy, give me that rabbit stew she talked about. As for my drink, water will do."

"Right away."

When the waiter left, Anna abruptly sat on the other side of the table. Normally, I would've kicked her if she'll keep being persistent, but I'll let it now. And that's not what's important. I need some accompany.

"Mister, you also don't mind me sitting with you, right?"

"Suit yourself."

She then immediately dragged him, while the startled Paul, didn't do anything.

"Mister...so I'm Paul, and this is Anna. Thank you for earlier, if you haven't saved me, I probably would be dead now, ahaha..."

"Appreciated, just don't thank you to me too much. The both of you, any plans on making up with your friend?" I'm planning to kill him later, afterall.

"That guy? Not a chance. Either way, our party will break starting this day. Even though, I'll still stay with Paul. What's your name, mister?"

My name, huh. If I said that I'm Rorogan, problems might occur since he's the seventh demon lord, and I'm currently in a human territory. That leaves me to...using my user name in the game.

"Yuukei, you can just call me Yuukei."

"Is mister from the east?"

"Indeed."

"Well, sir Yuukei, will you like to form a party with us?"

"Hey Anna, lets not bother mister."

Me? Forming a party with these weaklings? No thanks, you guys aren't even in the cast nor a memorable extra so what's the use. Wait, I'm no registered as an adventurer yet, so that'll be my first priority.

"Rejected."

"Eh, I bet you didn't even think about it. Why though?"

"I am simply uninterested."

"Ow..."

Finally, the stew arrived.

"Wait a minute, I forgot to ask this but...do you have any rice?" I called the waiter. He looked like he's trying to recall what it is, so it took him a few seconds to reply.

"OH! That's famous in the east. Well, sorry once again but, we don't serve rice here, sir."

...argh, noodles is one thing, but rice...don't worry, I'm not craving for soy sauce. Anyways, rabbit meat is quite alright.
