Misty could not believe that she was allowing Aizen to go on with what was on his mind.
Fighting a Pokemon such as Wartortle was suicide for humans. She knew that Aizen could take care of himself, but there was a chance that he could get hurt as well.
"Poli..."
She could hear the worry in voice of the green toad that was standing by her side.
"They will be fine." She couldn't help but say those words to comfort Politoed.
Her hand instinctively landed on her head, and she lovingly patted it.
Seeing that Politoed was not resisting it, and rather leaned in her hand, her heart ached at what her Trainer had done to her. She was such a nice soul and he abandoned her because she was not what he wanted her to be.
"Brother!"
Misty was startled by the sudden call of Anira. She turned to look at her left and her eyes widened in shock.
There, standing behind Leaf, Anira, and Jenny, was a terrifying looking Pokemon. She knew what it was, but it was the first time in her life seeing one. It's bluish grey metalic body was clean as cystals, and the golden 'X' on its face was shining lightly. However, its terrifying red and black eyes were glowing earily.
Wartortle gulped when he saw the Mega Metagross stare at him.
"Don't worry." Aizen smiled. "Dexter won't interfere in our fight."
His words seemed to calm Wartorle down.
"Good Job, Dex." He said to the hovering tank of a Pokemon. [Keep everyone safe if things get out control.] He gave a mental command.
"Meta." Dexter followed Anira who was walking towards Misty.
"Did you take care of the Wild Pokemon?" Misty smiled at the Orayen princess who came to stand by her side. Rinko was enjoying Anira's ministrations as she combed its coat with her fingers.
"Yes." Anira nodded. "We convinced Exeggutor to not interfere in our matters and promised them that Squirtle and his Squad won't be punished." She happily informed her.
"Dexter is so cool! All the Exeggutor were scared of him." Leaf had a very bright smile on her face.
"What happened to the Pidgeotto?" She asked when she recalled hearing its cry.
"I caught it after Dexter used Psychic on it, followed by Hypnosis. It fell unconscious before it could understand what happened to it." Leaf showed her the Pokeball. And then she pointed at the other one. "That's Gloom. Rinko brought it to us."
"What is Aizen doing?" Jenny confusedly asked as she saw him and Wartortle staring at each other.
"They are about to battle each other." Misty sighed and said.
"What?!"
Both Leaf and Jenny cried out in shock.
"Oh... It's been a while since I last saw him in a battle." Anira brightly smiled, and looked forward to the battle without a care.
Somehow, seeing the smile on her face, Misty's worries subsided.
"He will be fine, right?"
"Yes." Anira nodded with complete confidence.
Aizen saw that Wartortle was now ready. He started circulating his Aura in a calm rhythm, all over his body. And his Psychic Powers were heightened in complete focus.
"Wartortle!"
The tortoise called out as clouds started forming above them. And soon it was raining.
Metagross shrouded the girls under a Psycic barrier, preventing rain from drenching them.
"Rain Dance..." Aizen muttered as he looked at the dark clouds. He saw that Wartortle was being energized under the Rain Dance. "So your ability is Rain Heart."
"Wartortle!"
A Poweful Hydropump was sent at him at an astonishing speed.
Wartortle thought he had gotten his opponent, but suddenly he heard a chilling voice from behind him.
"Not bad." Aizen's eyes were glowing eerily purple as he raised his palm to the back of the tortoise. "Be gone!"
An invisible force slapped Wartortle from the back at a terrifying momentum. It was sent him crashing in the woods in a loud boom.
Aizen stayed in the clearing, looking at where Wartortle had crashed. He was waiting for the tortoise Pokemon to come back.

Wartortle was glaring at Aizen when it stumbled back in the clearing. And under the rain, its bruises started healing, and it was ready to go again.
Aizen knew that Wartortle saved itself from most of the damage by using Protect. And he was impressed at its instincts. However, what happened next excited him even more.
Wartortle was soon surrounded by a torrent of water, hiding it from the sight, and suddenly water erupted from the ground where Aizen stood.
"Wartortle!"
Aizen erected his Psychic shield just it time to save himself from the Waterfall/Skullbash combo Squirtle had come up with.
Seeing that he could not even budge Aizen to move, Wartortle started Rapid Spin, and surrounded them both in a whirlpool of water.
Aizen was attacked again and again by Waterfall and Skullbash combos from all sides. Had he not been an Aura User as well, Wartortle might have succeeded a little, but he could clearly see him under the veil of water he was trying to hide behind.
"Not bad.." He mockingly called out.
Angered by his words, Wartortle suddenly changed direction and smashed the ground with a powerful skull bash. He hoped that it would make Aizen lose balance and lose focus on the barriers he was surrounding himself in.
Aizen inwardly smiled, and decided to play along. He stumbled a little as the ground he was standing on was destroyed, and provided an opening for water to enter his barrier.
"Wartotle!" Driven by success, the tortoise hit Aizen with a powerful Hydropump.
"Aizen!" Leaf screamed in horror.
"He's fine." Anira grabbed her friends hand and squeezed it. "He teleported at the last moment. Look up."
Sure enough, Aizen was there in the air, and in his hand was a massive blue ball of revolving Aura.
"My turn." Aizen whispered and appeared behind Wartortle.
The tortoise still managed to use protect despite his utter disbelief, but the moment he was hit, he felt an overwhelming force squeezing the life out of him. And he fainted.
Aizen had immediately dispersed the Aura right after it came in contact with Wartortle, taking away nearly 80% of the strength from the attack. However, the dispersed Aura overwhelmed Wartortle's senses, making him believe that it was his end.
The Orayen Prince stared at the fallen Pokemon with a happy smile.
"Well fought." He whispered before taking out a Pokeball and capturing it.
The ball blinked only once before the ping was heard. And Aizen fell to his knees panting. His body started shaking as soon as he stopped revolving the Aura and relieved himself of his Psychic Focus.
He did not want to show weakness in front of Wartortle, but the truth was that his mind was aching, and his body was tired as well.
"Who asked you to play around with him?" Anira wrapped him in a hug from behind and whispered near his ear.
"It was fun..." Aizen grinned and planted a kiss on her arm.
"Wartortle is strong." She commented with a smile.
"He is." Aizen sighed with emotion.
"Meta..." Dexter called out to him.
"Mhm.." He nodded to him. "Gather around.
Dexter will be teleporting us to the Pokemon Center." He took a deep breath and said to the girls.
"Scyther.. scy.."
The green mantis looked at his Trainer with respect.
"Thank you!" Aizen called him back inside the Pokeball.
He couldn't help much smile happily when he saw Politoed holding Misty's hand.
"Thank you for trusting in us." He sincerely said.
"Poli poli!" The green Pokémon cheerfully replied.
"You were reckless..." Misty sighed. "But I can see that Wartortle needed that."
Leaf and Jenny were looking at him with stars in their eyes. And he couldn't help but laugh at their expressions.
"Vee!" Rinko took its spot on his shoulder and congratulated him on the win with his trademark loveable licks.
Metagross' eyes glowed purple when everyone was ready. In a blink of an eye, they disappeared from the place that was now in ruins.
