Chapter 50: Quarrel

Chapter 48: Quarrel

Reimi's nose was now bleeding, we had to get her to a healer though I didn't know where to go, maybe I should ask Shera.

"Princess, do you know where is the healer? Is the treatment area close from here?"

"Sir Rigen, there are some healers on the streets, we may find them out there, but most of them are gathering at the wealthy places." - Shera seemed to know about healers

"Ah, miss! What happened? I even heard loud sounds from upstairs." - Ewa, the owner of the inn asked us

"We were just quarreling, Ewa! We will pay the damages when we return, I have to take this girl to a healer!" - Shera spoke to Ewa with a serious voice

"I know there is a healer near this inn, go to the right at the end of this street and you will see him." - Ewa helped us to find a healer

"Thank you, madame."

Then we had to bring Reimi to the end of the street, Reimi kept yelling while her nose was bleeding non-stop.

"Reimi, just bear the pain for a little more, it will end soon." - Shera comforted Reimi

"Endure the pain, dammit! If you keep yelling then your wound will worse."

Many people saw us on the street, they stayed away to let us go, when we got to the end of the street, we saw a healer that was now sitting on a chair at a small stall.

"Hey, help us!" - I yelled to let that healer know

Then that healer stood up and offered the seat to Reimi, Reimi still now yelling, she kept crying about the pain she was now bearing.

"Calm down, lady! Can you people tell me where she is injured?" - That healer asked us while holding Reimi's face

"Her nose may be broken, Sir."

"Nose broke? This might be serious!" - That healer looked closer to Reimi's nose

"Can you do the treatment?" - Shera asked the healer, she wanted to touch Reimi but the healer avoided she to do that

"Oh! I saw the injured part, knowing where is injured will make the treatment easier to do."

"Just hold on, lady, this pain will end in seconds." - That healer slowly raised his hand near Reimi's nose

"Heal!" - A slight green aura appeared around Reimi's nose

In a few seconds, Reimi's nose had stopped bleeding, Reimi had now stopped yelling, she tried to breathe slowly to see if her nose still got problems or not.

"Are you alright, lady? Does your nose still hurt?" - That healer asked Reimi, Reimi shooked her head meant her wound had gone away

Then the healer had to spend a few minutes to check again Reimi's nose to see if it had crashed or not.

After making sure there was no injury left, he began to take the cloths that were placed in the stall to bandage Reimi's nose.

"Her wound has been dealt with, but if your friend has symptoms like hard to breathe or her nose bled or have bruises around her nose in the next few hours after the treatment, go meet me." - That healer reminded Shera

"Thank you, healer!" - Shera thanked the healer, I also thanked him after that

"The treatment pay will be 1.000 Gels, it would be exact 1.250 Gels but I see you two are very care about your friend so I will low down the price." - The healer said to us

"Let me, let me pay." - I pulled out my money bag to take out 100 Attas and was about to pay for the healer

"Sir R-, I mean John, let me pay instead." - Shera kept insisting to pay for the price

"No, Shera! My subordinates made this problem so I have to take the responsibility when I'm their leader, don't be regret it."

Then I took out the coins to give the healer, he took the coins and counted to make sure I didn't give him extra coins.

"Young man, you gave me more 7 coins, please take them back." - That healer gave me back my extra coins

"Are you alright, Reimi? Do you feel pain?" - Shera asked Reimi while helping her to stand

"I'm alright, my-, I mean Lady Shera." - Reimi replied to Shera while touching her nose to check if her wound was remain

Then we had to return to the inn, in the mid of the road, I remembered the thing I wanted to warn Shera, maybe I should talk to her now.

"Shera, I mean Princess, the thing I wanted to you back there was I want to warn you about something."

"What's it, Sir Rigen?"

"I heard a word from a woman who claimed to be a prophet, she said the Capital city of this Kingdom will have a big explosion in the next few days."

"I heard from her that your Kingdom will hold a ceremony to summon heroes or something, if the rebels remain in this city then the explosion may be their cause."

"I just want to tell your father to delay the ceremony for safety."

"But Sir Rigen, the representatives of the other Kingdoms will get here tomorrow."

"The ceremony will be held tomorrow's noon or sooner, it's a sacred event, cannot delay it." - Dammit! Looked like Shera didn't want to hear me

"I cannot hold off the ceremony but I will warn my father, that's all I can do, Sir Rigen!"

"I hope you understand, I will write a letter to send to my father when I go back to the inn." - Maybe I should follow these girls to the end, must save them at all costs

Then we returned to the inn, in this time the sky was about to go dark and we were about to have dinner.

"Ewa, I will pay for the damages, the meals price for this man and his people, here is the pay." - Shera took out the money and placed them at the stall, after doing that, we held Reimi up back the room

"Miss, you just gave me extra money." - Ewa called us with a loud voice when we were going upstairs

"Just keep it, Ewa! As the commission money for lead us to the healer." - Shera said back to Ewa while bringing Reimi with me back to her room

Then after going back to the room, I made a sigh, also Shera, we stared at each other for a few seconds then Shera prepared the pen with an ink box on the table with a fur paper, she was about to write.

"My Highness, let me, let me do this." - Reimi should have sat on the chair and rested, this muscle brain didn't learn anything after this...or she was a truly loyal to her ruler

"Reimi, rest! I will help the Princess."

"But!"

"If you don't rest, your wound will continue even if you are fully healed."

"Just listen to Sir Rigen, Reimi." - Shera ordered Reimi, seemed like after hearing Shera tell her, Reimi had sat down from the chair to rest though she kept regretting

"Princess, let me help...your handwriting is sure bad though." - Shera's handwriting kept making me open both of my eyes wide to read

"I'm sorry, Sir Rigen! I cannot write well though I wanted very much, my hand always fatigue after I write a bit so I have to tell Reimi to write for me every time." - Why did I see Shera's behavior like dysgraphia

"You have dysgraphia, Princess?" - I asked Shera, she and Reimi seemed confused after hearing what I said

"Dys...dys what, Sir Rigen?" - Shera stopped writing at stared at me, even titled her head to the right to figure out what I said

"Ah, sorry! Dysgraphia is an illness that my homeland used to call for the people who has a problem with writing, they cannot write properly and their hand always fatigue." - These girls didn't know about this

"Your homeland is quite developed, Sir Rigen! No, it's more developed than us, if I have a chance to visit it then I will go there." - Shera seemed to want to go for real

"Yeah, I will lead you there, Princess, also with Reimi if I can, I promise." - Yeah! I promised the girls but I still now didn't know how to return to my world

"Let me write for you, Princess! Just give me the details of the letter." - I took away Shera's pen then erased the words on the letter and was about to write again

Then Shera told me to write what she wanted in the letter, after writing, I asked Shera to let me deliver the letter though she kept insisting to let her do the job.

"It's already night, Princess! It's very dangerous for ladies to go outside at this time, let me go instead."

"Sir Rigen..." - Why did you make that sad face, Shera?

"Don't worry, Princess! I've remembered the codenames you taught me, you said the way to the Imperial Palace would take 15 minutes if I go on foot there, I will return soon."

"Sir Rigen, let me do the deliver." - Reimi! I said to you that you must rest

"Do not, Reimi! Rest!" - For some reason, I and Shera spoke the same word

"About my subordinates, Shera, I mean Princess."

"Just call me Shera if you like, Sir Rigen." - Okay! So she allowed me but I would keep calling her Princess, I wanted to avoid trouble if I went with her back to the Imperial Palace

"Princess, I will make the punishments for my subordinates when I return, I will go now."

"I said to you to call me Shera..." - Shera suddenly frustrated, I felt she was so cute

"I will return, ahh! Princess, I saw something wet under your collar, what is it?" - I didn't notice at first but seemed like that thing had already wet when I met Shera

"Oh! It's your dog tag, Sir Rigen! I accidentally dropped it so it is wet, I think if I put it under my collar, it will dry soon" - Shera even pulled out the dog tag for me to see

Eww! Did she just lick it? I saw the water on my dog tag that looked to be saliva, Then whose saliva was that? Don't tell me, that was from Shera's saliva!

"What's wrong, Sir Rigen?" - Why did the way Shera showed me my dog tag make me chills? Why did Reimi look a bit worried about Shera?

"I will go now, Princess! Oh, I forgot something."

I put down my bag then took out Advisor, I didn't need it this time, it always made me feel annoyed so I would give it to Reim.

At least I wanted to make her get some mood when she was resting.

"Hey Reimi, catch it." - I threw Advisor to Reimi after turning it on

"Sir Rigen, this is!" - Reimi seemed very surprised when I threw her Advisor

"It always makes me annoyed so I will give it to you tonight, have fun with it."

"Thank you, Sir Rigen! My Highness told me that I should not disturb you so I didn't have a chance to touch this thing when I was so curious about it, thank you very much." - Have fun, Reimi!

"John, how can you give me to girls so easy like that? Are you a lady ki-" - Advisor, can you shut your mouth off until I got away?

"You talk again and I will throw you somewhere."

"I dare you!"

"Give me, Reimi!" - I took Advisor from Reimi then stepped toward a window, about to throw it away

"I just kidding, I just kidding! Spare me, John!" - Seemed like Advisor knew how to scared

So I slowly lowered Advisor down, if you talked again, I would throw you for real, watch your mouth.

"I dare you..." - I heard Advisor said a low voice

"What did you say?"

"Nothing, I just said that I loved you, John! Haha!" - Looked like this AI was also dumb sometimes

Then I gave Advisor back to Reimi and went back to my room to store my bag then I locked my room and went out of the inn.

"Ah, mister! Do you want to go out? This hour is curfew." - Ewa talked to me with a worried voice, seemed like going out of the streets this time was a bad idea

"Don't worry, I will return soon."

Then I ran as fast as I could to the Imperial Palace that Shera told me to, I didn't see any people on the streets.

While running, I asked myself, why did my life in this another world was around the girls, all of them were beautiful but why they were so freaks?

Let's me count: Shera the mysterious crazy, Reimi the muscle brain, Sarah the pure stupid girl and finally Hatano the silent.

But I kept that joke aside a few seconds later to focus on my duty.

I saw a bit people staying in their houses that were now opening their windows out to look at me.

I saw that the people staying up there locked their eyes at me as if they were warning me or something.

"Hey, you over there! Dare to come out in this curfew!" - I saw that some Warsaw guards were patrolling the streets saw me

They were now running toward me while holding their spears.

Run! I ran as fast as I could straight to the Palace, I had to hide in the alleys to avoid getting caught by the guards.

"Did you find him?" - One of the guards asked the others, I was hiding inside a bunch of straw just away from them a few inches but they didn't see me

"No!"

"Dammit, let's split up to find, that man may be one of the rebels that remain here!" - The guards had gone away for a few seconds so I also stopped hiding and ran toward the Palace

So I ran to the Palace as fast as I could, it took me a few minutes, less than 10 minutes, I think!

When I got here, I saw the entrance to the Imperial Palace was surrounded by high iron fences. Two Royal Guards were guarding the entrance so I walked toward them right away.

I would throw my flashbang if I got surrounded, if worse, I would slice some guards with my sword.

"You, you dare to come out in this curfew!" - One of the guards shouted to me, his voice alerted the guards that were patrolling the street

"Don't stay alert too much, I'm just Sunshine's messenger, her guard is now sleeping because of tired so I delivered this message for her instead."

I pulled out the letter that I wrote for Shera to give the guards, the guards that were patrolling the streets had stopped chasing me.

"Oh, this is a Warsaw crest on the letter, so you are truly Her Highness's messenger, sorry for chasing you, Sir!"

"We have been ordered to arrest people that going out in this curfew hours though our Kingdom has just gone out of the coup, sorry for the inconvenient, Sir!" - The guard apologized to me then ran inside the Palace to deliver the letter

"Hey, guard! I just want to tell you one more thing as my private demand." - I asked the only guard that remained to guard the Palace

"I and two of my subordinates are the guests of Sunshine so I want to ask you to prepare for us more than one carriage to pick up us in a few hours, I also go with Sunshine to return here."

"Yes, I understand, Sir! I will prepare as soon as possible, ah! Sir, please take this." - That guard gave me a kind of paper that had the Warsaw crest on it

"Sir, on the way you return to Her Highness, there might be some guards that don't know you as her messenger so they will cause you troubles, please send them this paper and they will let you pass."

"Thank! I will go now, ah! Long live the Great Warsaw!"

"Yes! Sir! Long live the Great Warsaw!" - Why did I feel this line looked very similar to Long live Arstotzka in Paper, Please

Then I ran back to the inn, the guards that saw me on the streets had been terrified when I showed them the paper, they let me pass right away.

"Sigh! Finally, I got back."

I didn't know why when I got back to the inn, Shera had waited for me with Ewa, Shera told Ewa something and laughed at me.

Did Shera deliberately make me run the shit out of the guards for the letter's delivery? How could she? But why I didn't mad at her?

"Welcome back, Sir John! The breakfast will be prepared in a few minutes now." - Shera greeted me then went upstairs, I also went with her

"Shera, I mean Princess! I will take give punishments to my subordinates now, it might make me late dinner but don't wait for me, just eat."

"I will wait for you until that time." - Shera said to me then went back to her room

Okay! Let's deal with Hatano, just Hatano, Sarah was so dumb to deal with, she was pure and didn't know anything.

"Knock! Knock! Knock! Sarah, open the door." - I knocked on my subordinates room's door

"Right away, Commander." - Sarah heard my word and opened the door

Then I walked inside, Sarah was now standing next to Hatano, she looked at me with a worried face and looked back at Hatano, seemed like Sarah wanted to say something.

"Commander, please make a light punishment for my sis or I will take all of her responsibility, Commander." - Sarah, why did you so stupid?

"I've spent my time talking with my sis, she said she lost her control when she saw me got scolded by Reimi so she did that for me."

"Commander, please don't make that hard for my sis." - Keep begging, Sarah! Things wouldn't go like you wanted

"Sarah, I cannot let my emotion affect my viewpoint, the thing that Hatano did earlier was unacceptable."

"Sarah...let me...handle...this...you silent..." - Hatano had finally spoken

Then I walked toward Hatano until we faced to face each other, Sarah was now standing behind me, she looked more worried than before.

Maybe I should ask Hatano before giving her the punishment, I cannot judge her by my emotion too much.

Maybe the way she made Shera chocked was just to scare Reimi, not intended to kill her.

"Hatano, before I punish you, I want to know something."

"Hatano, the way you chocked Shera, you did that because you wanted to scare Reimi, right? Not intended to kill Shera? Answer me honestly!"

"Commander...I didn't..." - Good! Seemed like Hatano just wanted to scare Reimi, maybe I should not punish her too heavy

"Care...about...that Princess's...life...I would have...kill her...if Sarah...didn't stop me..." - What? What did you say?

"What? What did you say? Speak faster!"

"I didn't care about that little Princess, I would have killed her right away if Sarah didn't tell me to stop, that's all."

What the fuck did you say? You wanted to kill her, calm down! Calm down! I cannot let myself out of control!

"Commander!" - Sarah shouted to me, when I realized, I had punched Hatano with a strong blow to her face

Hatano was now falling to the floor, she stood up with her emotionless face, didn't give care about her pain.

"What the fuck did you say, Hatano? Say it again!"

"Commander, that's enough, please!" - Sarah! Shut your fucking mouth off, you didn't know shit!

"You intended to kill Sher-"

"What's happening up there?" - Ewa called us from below, she must have noticed our quarrel

"Sorry, madame! We will pay the damages later, we were just quarreling, it will end soon so please calm down a bit." - Sarah talked back to Ewa, her face was now very worried

"Hatano, you didn't care about Shera if you kill her, then what about Reimi, you never think about her feeling if you kill her ruler?" - I tried to calm myself down

"No, I didn't give a care about them, I only care about Sarah." - How did you be heartless like that, Hatano? You were a psychopath?

"But you know that Shera would have died but you didn't care about her?"

"Yeah, I do, I didn't care." - This bitch!

"Commander" - Sarah was so panicked so she charged between us

"Get the fuck out!" - I pulled Sarah out, even pushed her to the ground

"Sarah!" - Hatano was about to charge at me to protect her sister

But Hatano was rushing to her sister to pick her up so she didn't notice me, I gave Hatano a strong blow to her stomach and held her collar, throwing her to the wall.

"Sis!" - Sarah didn't have any injury, she didn't fall so she was now rushing to Hatano to check up on her

"Vomit!" - Maybe I had punched Hatano's stomach so powerful so she was now vomiting in front of me, she did that non-stop

"Heh! Look like you are not pathetic and feeble as I thought, good job, John Rigen." - What the fuck did you say! You dare me to mess with you?

"Commander, stop!" - Sarah was now covering Hatano, seemed like she willing to protect her with all costs

"Knock! Knock!" - I heard sounds from someone out of the door, maybe that was Ewa, she may complain about the mess we had made in her inn

"Sir Rigen, it's me, Reimi! I'm now standing outside with Her Highness, I think that you should end this now, Sir Rigen."

"I have thought carefully, I forgive your subordinates, Sir Rigen, as Her Highness told me to, she didn't want to cause more troubles." - Tch! Why did these girls have to?

Then I looked back at Hatano, she was now still sitting on the floor, she had stopped vomiting but still stared at me with her full hatred eyes.

Sarah looked at me as if wanted me to forgive her older sister.

"Private Shizuka Hatano, you will have nothing to eat tonight, your weapons will be confiscated until you regret what you did to Shera and I will return them to you, that's your punishment!"

I gave Hatano the punishment and went out to meet Reimi and Shera, about Sarah, I didn't know if she wanted to go with me or not.

She was taking care of Hatano, maybe she wouldn't have the mood to eat dinner.

Sigh! What have I done? Wasn't that a good idea, but Hatano had hated me the first time we met each other so if I, as a Commander went soft on her then there would be a day I got betrayed

But maybe, I would have been betrayed if Sarah didn't stick with me, maybe I should use Sarah to keep Hatano with me, for as long as possible.

I didn't want to see my soldiers die or be left behind, at least when I had a bit of a memorable relationship with them, I would be very unpleasant if I saw them like that.
