Chapter 9: Chapter 7: Visitors at last~!

Midas just watched as that convoy quickly got closer, it was obvious that their leader at the very least was interested in her masterpiece. It was only a shame he wouldn’t be able to see it in it’s final state since she couldn’t exactly speed up the growth of the plants. She had traveled quite a bit in her past lives (why spend money in only one place when you can splash the cash around the map) but very few places were as ‘archaic’ as this continent.

It was easy to tell when a civilization made something themselves or relied on others for technology. Culture being the ‘guide’ on appearance be the core identifier; even when reaching outer space ships often differed greatly in appearance. Not to say this was a bad thing as it also often represented a healthy economy as technology and such were traded between Civilisations.

Then there were places like this that were so backwater there was practically isolated.

They weren’t even on the taming stage as they had taur style beast-kin (a {Mortal Race}) carrying sleds filled with the merchant wares. It’s not like this world was like some others that had to rely on the beast's personality to tame; it was a world where contracts were enforced by the very realms themselves.

Really shouldn’t be too hard to tame a few of those daft {Desert Hound}’s to pull the carts. They could also use {Water Qi-Stones} from water beasts to help them create water on the go; although they had limited qi in the stones it took some time to have the higher leveled ones run out. She guessed it would be better in {Outerim} but {Central Cities} sure seemed backward…

Which was perfect for her~!

As they approached though she decided it would be better to meet them in her other form. What would get her a better reception - a giant serpent or a beautiful, sexy woman? With that decided she made the decision to do some self-care so she can look her best when they arrive.

As soon as they got close to their destination their minds were filled with information but it was in a calm manner. Even then they were expert cultivators who were formed from years of strife in {Gold Dust Desert Continent}’s {Central Cities} so their minds were resilient enough to block the attempt. They would rather not hastily let some possibly corrupting force enter their minds so easily.

It did make them raise their guards against whatever made this place since this clearly meant they had abilities far outweighing what they themselves could accomplish. Their shock was even greater when they finally arrived though - mud, sapling/sprouts, beast, water and that giant obelisk was all clear to them. As they finally stepped on the mud though they felt the air was far less ‘aggressive’ than it once was and Adjar guessed they must’ve walked through a barrier. They all shivered with heated cheeks as the large amount of pure qi made their meridians cry out with joy.

“This place is crazy… I doubt there is a better holy land in this desert.” <Head Merc>

“A untamed holy land is no different from a tomb.” <Adjar>

Their eyes eagerly looked over everything as they were walking through the saplings and little sprouting seeds. Most of them felt weird walking on the dirt since most of their life they either walked on the stone streets of the cities or in the sandy desert. What they currently stood on was something in between the two. This caused a lot of them to stumble and even one of his hired Camtaurs fell to its knees due to losing its balance.

Beyond that they could see many beasts laying on a sandy area seemingly in sleep but they had no greed about ambushing the beasts. Even Adjar who had the highest cultivation made no lie to himself that he would be able to survive after gaining their attention as most of the beasts were at his cultivation if not beyond it!

Yet the beasts paid no attention to them and there appeared to be none that descended from the {Gold Dust Beast Clan}s as they had no humanoid figures… Except for one.

As they gazed into the clear blue water with envy towards the beasts who could bravely sit there, their attention was drawn by a plethora of silver feathers that rained down upon them and the beasts. Without thinking they wondered what beautiful bird would have such a beautiful set of feathers but when they looked up they…

Well they weren’t unhappy with what they got to see.

“Well hello there~. I wassn’t expecting guesstss sso ssoon shashasha~!” <Midas>

Flying above with three sets of proud wings full of silver feathers upon her back was a beautiful toffee skinned woman.

With her was the calming scent of toffee lathered in caramel; sweet but enticing. Her body was just as enticing though. She appeared to be a decent height of 5’5 with an hourglass figure that many would die for. The woman had gigantic boobs, slender waist and a large shapely buttox with nice plump thighs. Ontop of having this perfect shapely body she showed minimum desire to hide it.

The only ‘clothing’ she wore was golden ‘strips’ that came from either side of the back of her neck then down (covering her nipples but hardly hides the outline of her areola) before meeting once again to cover the meat between the woman's puffy lower lips. From the lower lips it comes back around from between those large ass cheeks. From the back of her waist it split out to become a belt just above her buttox - it actually looped over itself.

“Allow me to welcome you to my, Midas Ankh’s, nest.  [Midas Divine Eulogy Oasis]!” <Midas>

With her powerful comment she crossed her legs (feet one behind the other while still ‘standing’) while her arms stretched out at her waist. It was almost like a tyrant ‘inviting’ someone. Both wrists and ankles had golden bracers while the beast girl even had a cow bell hanging from a collar around her neck.

Everything seemingly made with some form of ‘gold’ showing this woman's wasteful wealth but at the same time Adjar felt a cold sweat up his back at one particular word.

“Nest…” <Adjar>
