Hearing what Noah said, Lance's expression froze. If that were true, if the pain he felt in the game wasn't even 30% of what he would feel in real life, he definitely couldn't touch those flames... but if he didn't do that, he knew he would be considered a liar, not to mention that Noah apparently knew he was actually using hacks...
"What's going on? If he was so sure it was a hack, why is Lance apparently so afraid of that flame?"
At this point even the audience became suspicious and began to wonder why Lance was acting that way. Lucifer had proved in the frenzy of teleportations that Lance's argument about him having infinite energy was a lie. Now his argument about the pain limit was also apparently being challenged… A lot of people had already changed their accusing looks from Noah to Lance.
But what left them still in doubt was that Noah had confirmed that there was a hacker at the game, and he openly admitted it. Many were quite curious as to what he meant by that.
And for that the presenter entered. {Lucifer, during our previous conversation we may not have been talking about the same thing. When we talked about the hacker, what did you mean by that?}
Noah looked at him with an expression that said, 'Isn't it obvious?' "Haven't you noticed yet? Since the game with Dark Laugh, my team and I noticed that there were hackers in this championship. And tell me a trait that the Dark Laugh captain and the Water Dragons captain both have?"
Hearing this, the presenter noticed that there was something in common with them. {Even though the two have no Blessings, the two are still the Aces and captains of the teams themselves, exhibiting a strength, agility, and reaction speed well above average...}
"Exactly! From my knowledge of Valorwatch, a generic Rank D Blessing would not give a user strength for these three characteristics so intensely. If he were strong, agility would be affected adversely, if he were very agile, it would be impossible to have that much strength. But incredibly, both Lance and the Ace from Dark Laugh have these three characteristics in abundance... Not to mention the most obvious hack of all: AimBots." Noah responded as he extinguished the flames in his hand and crossed his arms, standing beside the presenter to explain himself to the audience.
Because of all this drama that was going on live, the number of spectators watching the championship went up from 1,000,000 to more than 3,000,000. This was intrinsic to humanity. No matter the age, humans loved good gossip and drama. And that was exactly what was happening live in the championship. Better than any soap opera, the twists and turns that happened in such a short time started to leave people jaw-dropping.
Even those who didn't care so much about Valorwatch started watching the tournament to learn what drama was going on after a friend had sent a link.
{What do you mean by AimBots?} The presenter had also been captivated by Noah's speech and his curiosity was controlling the questions he asked. Like the audience, he also wanted to know what was going to play out of all this.
"AimBots, for those unfamiliar, are a hack widely used in shooting games, a hack that targets the opponent alone and sometimes even attacks alone as long as the opponent is in range of the attack. If you can pull up a replay of our match, you will see that whenever I reach the range of Lance's attack, even before his eyes understand where I came from, his body was already attacking me on its own. For someone with such an advanced mechanical memory, that person should have trained for a long time, at least dozens of years, but as you can see..." *Bamf* " Without an AimBot he doesn't even notice me coming up close." Noah finished answering after teleporting to Lance's side and placing a hand on his shoulder.
Seeing Noah's explanation accompanied by the extremely clear demonstration that he gave, it was obvious to these people what had really happened.
"Damn... So it means that the person who was accusing the other of hacking, in fact, was the hacker himself who couldn't accept losing? How pathetic..."
"Exactly... That was the same word I thought... pathetic."
"Someone as pathetic as that doesn't even make me want to boo; I feel sorry. Probably someone like that will never achieve anything good in life."
The public's opinion changed 180° after Noah explained himself and proved he was right, something that made Lance sweat even more and not even manage to formulate a decent sentence to defend himself.
Seeing that the crowd's focus had shifted from himself to Lance, Noah waved goodbye to the people and with a *Bamf* he teleported away.

On the other side of [Hell Tunneling], Noah appeared next to his friends who had already taken off their uniforms and were laughing while watching the championship on television.
Hearing the usual *Bamf*, they quickly turned and saw Noah there preparing to change his clothes.
"Dude, I can't believe he was so shameless in accusing you of hacking publicly as he was the one who was using them, haha." James laughed a lot when he saw Noah.
"Neither could I. I even found it strange at first to think that he was so confident when he was accused of using a hack, until I realized that he was accusing you! Hahaha, the boys are proof, when I realized this, I almost fell on the floor from laughing so much. I didn't think it was possible for someone so comical to exist!" Mateo responded by laughing a lot too.
"Woah, Lance admitted that he used a hack and is explaining how he did it for the company to fix... Hehe, doesn't he know that the thing hackers hate the most is people exposing them? He's really going to get fucked up." Carlos, who was still watching Lance and the presenter on television, told the others, which left them quite surprised.
"How did he use this hack?!" James turned excited, dying of curiosity to know what it was like. After all, they used a virtual reality capsule to play; using hacks in the capsules was not as simple as installing a program on a computer, since the capsules were closed source.
"Apparently he was wearing a bracelet which emitted a certain type of electromagnetic pulses that apparently bugged the capsule and made it treat the player as if the person had two generic Blessings instead of a single one. Man... how do these hackers discover this type of thing? It doesn't make sense... "Carlos explained and asked himself, indignant about it. It was something very specific; to find it out, it must have been so much work.
"Hackers know where to look. I remember that to unlock the world's first HiPhone in the 2000s, a group of hackers around the world burned dozens of phones just to find out what they needed to do to unlock them. Nowadays, with the technology so advanced, the amount of capsules they burned must have been even more monstrous... This work must be very profitable for them," Noah replied while remembering a news item he happened to read.
After that, the championship hackers were all identified. Apparently there were four teams with hackers, and not just three as Noah had deduced.
Unfortunately, what they feared happened: the championship had to redo some games so that the hackers did not disqualify good teams. Since Noah's team had beaten two hackers, they didn't have to play again, but there were teams that had to play even three games in a single day.
Fortunately for Noah, he had a day off, which he used to look at the emails he had received asking to rent the imps, and what he found in those emails was very tempting for him.
One of the problems with coming to the championship was that he couldn't get any stronger. He wanted to officially reach Rank C soon and move out of that city so he could further get stronger, and with the offers he found in the email / emails, Noah would definitely speed up that process by a lot.
