Ch.apter 2011: Selection Competition (1)
At last, the selection competition between the various schools was about to begin. Nearly a thousand schools set out together at the last moment to take their teams to the largest city in the Howling Abyss—Hidden Dream City. Hidden Dream City was the central city in the Howling Abyss. It covered more than ten times the area of other large cities. The lord of the undead, the Ancestor of the Undead, stayed there.
The selection competition was directly held in Hidden Dream City, which showed that the Ancestor of the Undead attached great importance to this competition.
The elites of all the major schools had come out, and all the participants brought out their full hundred-and-twenty-percent ghting spirit, ready for the upcoming battle. Kehr was in charge of all the matters concerning the team of Deathre Academy. Shen Yanxiao accompanied Kehr to Hidden Dream City with the whole Flaming Red Squad. The undead guards in the city had prepared accommodations for the members of Deathre Academy.
As the commander-in-chief of the undead army of Howling Abyss, Kehr used some of his authority to elevate the accommodation of the Deathre Academy team, directly having them stay in the largest inn of Hidden Dream City. During the competition, all the inns in Hidden Dream City would be used to house the contestants.
As luck would have it, as soon as the Flaming Red Squad arrived at the inn where they would be staying, they met a group of acquaintances…/Visit our v ipnovel.com website
Clad in black robes, Fengling and his companions stood on the ground oor of the inn, and Shen Yanxiao with the Flaming Red Squad directly bumped into them. When Fengling saw Yan Di and the rest, a little surprise ashed through his eyes. Their encounter in the Forest of Death had left deep impressions on both sides.
Fengling frowned slightly. He looked at Kehr before walking away silently with his companions.
“Mentor Kehr, the Royal Academy team lives here too?” After Fengling’s group left, Shile asked, somewhat surprised. Kehr smiled and replied, “Yes. The Royal Academy has a very strong team. They are your most formidable adversary. You should be careful.”

Kehr didn’t know that the Flaming Red Squad and the Royal Academy team had already met in the
Forest of Death and that their teams had already clashed. He just casually made a funny remark.
The corner of Shile’s mouth twitched slightly. “Formidable adversary… more like mortal enemy.” Shile murmured.
“Hm?” Kehr looked at Shile. Shile immediately lowered his head.
Kehr soon helped the Flaming Red Squad nalize their accommodations. In this competition, Kehr and Sal would be responsible for the safety issues in the whole event, so after helping the members of the Flaming Red Squad settle down, hon as Kehr left, the Flaming Red Squad became less formal in front of Shen Yanxiao.
“Boss, are we really going to live here?” Shile looked sadly at Yan Di.
After returning from the Forest of Death, this group of naughty brats directly changed their honoric for Shen Yanxiao from mentor to… boss.
Shen Yanxiao was speechless about this new title. Suddenly, she had the illusion that she had become the leader of a group of bandits.
“Otherwise?” Shen Yanxiao replied.
“But… aren’t you afraid we’ll end up ghting with those guys?” Shile watched Shen Yanxiao. The members of their Flaming Red Squad and those guys from the Royal Academy had little chance of coexisting in harmony. In the Forest of Death, they were almost planted to the ground by Fengling’s hands. They already decided that they would get back at them in this selection competition. Who knew that they would be met with such a coincidence? They actually lived in the same inn as those Royal Academy students! Meeting so frequently like this, couldn’t a ght break out at any minute?
