It has been 3 years since the Marquis Draig family has adopted me. My training schedule was hectic. I barely survived sometimes. Stacy's stamina training was brutal, and her sparring sessions weren't better. My magic training was doing okay. Stacy wasn't lying when she said she couldn't really help with that. Not even the servants were helpful. No one in the entire mansion could teach me how to wield my magic properly. Well, other than magic, everything else was going well with my train.
The biggest thing that really happened in the last 3 years was Rebecca and Lily getting married. I wasn't surprised that they got along after sacrificing Lily, but they went from coworkers straight to being engaged in one night that surprised Stacy and me. They said they found their soulmates and all. We didn't question it and congratulated them. It was kind of depressing and weird sometimes when they would be flirting in front of us. Well, normal flirting would be fine in my books, but there were crazy. Their flirting was about how Rebecca would punish Lily later that night. We had to make Rebeccas room soundproof after some servants complained about their punishing games. Their wedding was 2 years ago. I also got my own maid a year ago. Her name is dizzy. She was a dog demi-human. She had brown dog ears on her head and a fluffy tail. Ps, my tail is still way fluffier than hers. She also had green eyes. I didn't want one initially because I liked doing things myself, but I ended up needing her with the amount of training I did. After that, nothing major happened until 3 months ago when I was reminded about my past again.
(Nightmare Flashback)
Waking up from hearing screaming. Opening my eyes, I saw that I was in a dark room. I stood up from the bed and walked towards the door. When I was about to take my second step, I felt something grabbing my back. Turning around, I saw a blond woman with blue easy looking at me. There was blood coming down from her head and out of her mouth.
"She will abandon you too. she will never accept your true self. she will leave you for the dogs to dissect you again like your-." The woman couldn't finish because I woke up. Looking through my room in the mansion, I saw I was alone again.
(End of Flashback)
I knew everything could not be sunshine and rainbows, but how I was reminded of it got me. Having a nightmare about your dead mother isn't fun. After that night, I couldn't forget it, and the nightmares became worst and worst after that. My sleeping pattern was up in the air. I started to train more by myself. Everyone was worried about me, and I knew that, but even if I had lived with them for so long, I still didn't trust them all. Well, not enough for me to tell them about my past.
The only one that I did trust was Stacy, and I was too scared to tell her about my mother and father. I wanted to tell her about my past before my nightmares started. It was just she wasn't a bad parent, but anyone can change after knowing what the other person has done. Yes, I did start seeing her as a mother. This is the main reason why I didn't want her to know the real me. If she abandons me, I don't think I would survive. I knew I was overthinking it, but I was just too scared to tell her. I was brought out of my thought by a knock coming from the door.
"Come in," I said to the person outside.
"Young, Miss. Lady Draig said that she wants to see you at the training ground in 10 min." Dizzy said.
"Hmm? Okay, I will be there." I nodded and stood up from my bed. I started walking.
Walking towards the training ground, I thought about my status. I still haven't mastered all my weapons ready for combat, so I didn't know how it looked. Stacy said that I could keep up with her if she uses a level 200 Uncommon class status. I couldn't win, but I could survive for an hour or so against her at that level. We also forgot to put on the passive leveling restrainers in the beginning. Rebecca again scolded Stacy like the first day. Looking up, I saw I was already at the doors to enter the training grounds. Sign to me. I walked in.
"Aah, so you still come when I ask you to," Stacy said with a bit of an annoyed face. I might have been avoiding her most of the time in the past 3 months.
"Stacy, what do you want." I looked around and saw there was no one else on the training ground. Not even Rebecca wasn't here. It was just the 2 of us.
"Let us get straight to the point. I am getting tired of you avoiding me. Tell me, what is going on?" Her annoyed face changed midway into one of the worries.
"It's nothing Stacy, I am fine."
"BULL SHIT, DON'T THINK I DON'T KNOW THAT YOU SIT ON YOUR BALCONY MOST OF THE NIGHT LOOKING LIKE SOMEONE THAT WANTS TO DIE!? IF YOU DON'T TELL ME, I WILL BEAT IT OUT OF YOU!?" She started shouting at me and pointed her katana at me. This wasn't her normal shout. I know the difference. This was her shout when she was mad, and she did not get mad easily. She dropped her weapon and went on. "It has been 3 months since we really talked! Did something happen? Did I upset you in some way? If you tell me what I did wrong, I will do anything to make it up to you, please?" She started to sound desperate. Seeing her in what state she was driving herself into. I started to panic.
"No, No, you didn't do anything wrong. it just I am having personal problems." I looked down when I told her the last part.
"Personal problems? Did you finely start having your periods?"
Huh!? No, that started like a year ago." I said in embarrassment.
"They have? Why didn't you tell me?"
"Dizzy helped me with that, and it's really embarrassing to talk about that." I blushed a bit.
"If it's not that, then what is it?" Stacy started walking closer to me.

"It nothing really. I just need more time to figure out how to move on." I said, crashing my head awkwardly.
"Move on? So it's about your past? You know, talking about it can help. If you don't want to talk about it with me, there are other people you can talk to."
"I don't trust anyone with my past except you, but I am too scared to tell you." I looked down and replied to her.
"Why?" She said, worried, stopping in front of me.
"Don't want I knew mother to abandon me," I said without thinking.
"Mother? Did you call me your new mother?" She sounds delighted to hear what is said. Realizing I talked too much, I turned around, trying to walk out of the training grounds. "Wait, please tell me. Your world is so different than ours. I am certain that you don't have to hide the things you have done before. They might seem like a joke to me." she grabbed my hand, stopping me from walking away.
"Sigh, fuck it. Let us go to my room." Deciding to trust her. I grabbed her hand, dragged her to my room.
arriving in my room, I sat on my bed with her in front of me and said. "Use your skill on me."
"Huh? Do you mean I should look at your memories?" she looked confused.
"Yes, it will take too long and too many breakdowns to explain everything. If you see all my memories, then we can talk afterward."
"Hmm, okay, I will also show you my childhood memories so we can have our middle ground afterward."
"Are you certain you want to do that? Your childhood might be worse than mine."
"We don't come from the same world, so the trauma might be defined differently." She also sat down in front of me.
"Before we start, why did you call me to the training grounds to talk?"
"That is a place where I am most comfortable to let people know how I feel."
"For some reason, that makes sense. You, as a training freak, are most comfortable on the training ground to open up your heart." Nodding my head. It was funny that she was like that.
"Well, do you give me permission to look into your memories?" She put her hand on my head.
"Yes, I do." I nodded. We both closed our eyes when she activated her skill.
Unknown to both of us, someone was eavesdropping on our conversation the entire time.
The room's door opened, revealing a maid with green eyes and brown dog ears walking inside.
"Fucken finally, I have an opening to kill her, and it is a 2 for one deal, hehe." The maid laughs with an evil grin.
