“Fuck!” you swear—still standing at the entrance to the mess hall—as you realize it’s too late to stop the minotaur girl who is charging at the leader of the bandits, screaming all the way. You’re forced into combat and need to try and use what little remains of your element of surprise.
You cast [Summon Imps], follow it up with [Summon Spider]. This time, five imps appear out of a puff of smoke. Nothing else seems to be different though. All five of them are just as small and unnervingly cute as before and dressed just as inappropriately as before—a bunch of leather belts strapped across their bodies.
You point at the stunned group of bandits still at the table and command your summons, “Kill them as fast as possible! Spider, provide ranged support!”
The little loli imps pull out their daggers and run at the bandits, giggling on their way. Your summoned spider-woman goes vertical—scaling the nearby wall with her eight hairy appendages and starts spewing her webs at the bandits, rooting them in place.
Then you look at the bunny girls, still behind you and command, “Kill Xi’s crew together with the imps! Go!”
You don’t have to tell them twice. Alpha draws her Rapier and, together with Gamma, runs after the trigger-happy imps.
Meanwhile, seeing the minotaur girl running at him, Xi casually stands up and remains where he is. Ariadne jumps into the air with her greataxe above her head to bring down death upon the bunny man. As she lands—with her axe aimed at the bunny man’s head—Xi grabs by the throat the woman that was just servicing him and shoves her right into Ariadne’s weapon’s trajectory while taking a step to the side himself.
She doesn’t even have time to scream. Blood pours from the poor woman’s body and she loses consciousness as Ariadne’s axe nearly cuts the woman in half and remains lodged somewhere in her ribcage.
Xi raises his arm and, pointing the palm of his hand at Ariadne who is removing her axe from the woman’s body, unleashes a fireball right at your sister. Ariadne barely dodges the attack by leaping to the side and sliding on the dirty stone floor. Throughout this small exchange, the woman that has Xi’s food on her back remains just where she is, on all fours, on the same spot, sweating and trembling in fear.
“To think I would live to see the day that such a lowly race would make an attempt on my life,” Xi says with a frown on his face, steps over the bleeding body of the woman he threw to her death and raises his arm for another attack. “You think I would let some cow so much as touch me? The mere thought is disgusting!”
He fires two more fireballs at your sister who manages to jump to her feet and dodge them by jumping to the side and avoiding their straight path. After that, she runs forward at Xi but is knocked to the ground, face-first, by a powerful hit on her back by the dryad, who seemingly appeared out of nowhere and is now standing over her.
Ariadne turns over and attempts to retaliate against the dryad, but he disappears and reappears on her other side, and kicks her somewhere around her kidneys.
“Gah!” your sister lets out a gasp of air and pain.
“When I’m done with you I’ll have you carved up, cooked and fed to my prisoners,” Xi says and prepares to launch another attack at your sister.
