Fuyumi was sitting on her bed with her head looking down at her thighs where Shido laid his head with his eyes closed. It was clear that he was sleeping. She placed her hand on his head and passed her fingers through his hair. The kids too were sleeping on either side of Shido.

[15 Minutes Before]
Fuyumi was shedding tears and sobbing as she saw the news on TV. Shido took that missile into space along with Genesis and then the nuclear missile exploded. She wanted to steel herself as soon as possible because the kids would need her as support but the dam of tears and sadness didn't close, instead, the doors of those dams blasted open.
"Fuyumi..."
When she was drowning in overwhelming sadness, she heard someone calling her name being called but the most important thing to her was that she heard her name being called by the one she needed the most right now.
She quickly turned with expectations in her eyes and saw Shido standing at the door with Eri and Himiko in his hands.
Without a second thought, Fuyumi stood up from her seat and ran up to him. As she drew closer to him, she opened her arms wide and embraced him and the kids. Fuyumi then quickly stepped back and let Shido put the children on the ground first.
After putting the children on the ground, Shido stood up and looked at Fuyumi.
"I'm hom--" But before he could complete the sentence, his eyes started fluttering, and then he started falling towards Fuyumi and fainted in her arms.

As Fuyumi played with Shido's hair, she had a smile on her face. Finally, he returned. She didn't care whether he returned victoriously or not.
She looked at Shido's peaceful sleeping face and a thought invoked in her mind.
'Who would think one of the world's strongest people is sleeping with my thigh as his pillow?' Fuyumi slightly smiled.
'But since now he has shown what he is capable of, I guess others won't disturb him... and disturb us, right?' She asked herself but then she turned to the sleeping Shido.
'Right?' She asked.

Not so far away from Fuyumi was the HQ of the Pro-Hero Association. In the washroom, Fuyumi's father, Endeavor was washing his face and then he looked into the mirror.
He was contemplating what just happened today. The day was uneventful but the night was when the blast happened. Night Slash Vs. Genesis happened and Night Slash won. But this still did not invoke the conflicted feelings inside Endeavor... it was the power show of the two.
The skyscraper disintegrated with just a touch, Turned into a 45 ft. Mecha, Killed 1000 Insurgents in a single attack.
'Beings stronger than me... than All Might... than all of us. My aim is to make Shoto a great hero... but if his enemies are such beings, Will he be able to defeat them and win? Will I be able to defeat them?' Endeavor asked himself as he looked into the mirror.

Far from Endeavor in Fukuoka City, Hawks was looking outside the big glass wall of his agency. He was in a dark room looking at the night scene of the city. But his gaze was not exactly looking at the city... it was looking far than that.
'My plans to destroy HPSC got destroyed with the death of Night Slash... Why did he have to die at a time like this? I was this close to winning against him but in the end moment, he had to die... Now I can only use the pawn that I let go from Tartarus... Kaina Tsutsumi.'

In Kamino Ward, Dr. Garaki was looking at the long rows of corpses laid in front of him.
"Doctor... Does this number of experimental subjects excite you?" asked a raspy and heavy voice from the dark.
Dr. Garaki was excitedly looking at the corpses, "So many bodies... So many quirks. But how? I mean so many dead bodies and there is no movement in the authorities."
"Let just say that the Vigilante who was hell bound on killing the villains left the loots of his killings. So I just took what was left on the streets to rot."
"Hohoho... Finally... Now I can take the Nomu Project to new heights," said Dr. Garaki.

There was a slight smile on the face of the man hiding in the dark but the smile faded when the man's mouth parted.
"Doctor... I wanted to ask something?"
"What is it?"
"Will you be able to create something that can reach the level of that Vigilante?"
When Dr. Garaki heard the man's question, the smile on Garaki's face widened.
"Stronger than that..."

"This is unacceptable. Two Gods fought in front of the whole world and we are sitting here as if nothing happened. Two Gods died today... TWO GODS! They were like us... law holders. We should've brought them here and then solved their internal grievances... By doing that we could've two new members but we let them fight and now both of them are dead! Why didn't the council do anything?! I ask why?!" A Chinese man wearing a regal robe shouted at the people sitting at a round table in front of him.
"Calm down Yudi... Allfather already said that there is not going to be any discussion about this" said a man with a slight beard on his face.
"Shut the fuck up Alexander! Let him fight the Allfather... We will see who is stronger... Allfather or the new Jade Emperor," said a man with a long beard. He had a glass of wine in his hand.
"The one who needs to shut up is you, Rasputin!" Alexander shouted back.
Amidst all this chaos, one man with a medium white beard and long white hair was sitting at the central seat of the round table. He was getting irritated by the constant bickering but it didn't show up on his face.
"Enough..." said the man sitting at the central seat.
A single word came out of the man and the entire round table which was bickering at each other silenced down.
"Yes, Allfather..." Everyone said in unison.
The man's eyes scanned the entire room and he looked at each and everyone's face. His moving gaze stopped on Yudi for a second and then it continued.
"I understand Yudi's question and it is legitimate... Why? Why didn't we intervene in such a big event? Two Law Holders were fighting and we didn't even raise a finger. Can any one of you guess and tell me an answer."
"Because the one named Genesis had the [Law of Electromagnetism]... The law that you gave to your son." said a man who had a head of a jackal.
"Indeed Anubis... and Genesis was Reid... my son. During our last meet, He manifested [Chaos] and managed to run away from me... who would've thought that he changed his body and became the President of the United States."
"But doesn't this give you more reason to stop the fight? Your son died," Yudi asked but he was hushed to stay silent by Rasputin.
"Let him speak Rasputin... You are correct Yudi... If I was a normal father, I would've tried to save my son. But you see... I am a person who values saving this world from descending into chaos more than my own personal life... So it was a necessary sacrifice that I had to make.
The world leaders were getting more and more boisterous and were about to act on their ambitions but after what happened today, they are pulling their hands as they just saw something out of their understanding. Unknown creates Fear and fear is what they are feeling..."
Yudi, the new guy on the council, was astonished as he heard the Allfather's answer.
"Setting that aside... After the arrival of Yudi in our council, we still have a seat empty in our council... Seira can you show me the list of candidates for the seat."
A blue screen opened up in front of the man. Allfather looked at the screen for a few seconds and then he typed something into it. He then sent the list of candidates to each council member.
When the list of candidates reached the council members, they became confused. Alexander the Great or only Alexander asked Allfather.
"Why is a deadman on the list of candidates for the empty seat?"
Allfather who rarely showed any expression on his face had a small smile on his face as he said, "You will see."
