Chapter 1103: Take Me Away From Here...

Lu Feng took Lu Lijun downstairs and asked him to eat something first. He couldn't say no to his brother and tried to gulp down some food while still thinking and worrying about Jiang Yuyan.

Once he was done and they came to the living room from the dining room, Lu Lijun heard his mother talking to elders.

"Jiang Yang wishes to take Yuyan with him."

"Did he say it?" Elder Lu asked.

Ning Jiahui nodded. "And he looks upset that she is sick. He never showed it before, but this time, he expressed it.

"He has always been so understanding towards our family. He is right if he is upset this time. Let him do what he wishes. After all, our family is responsible for what Yuyan is going through," said elder Lu.

"It would be good for her if she stays away from everything for a while," Grandma added.

"Does he think we can't take care of her," Lu Lijun asked as he clenched his fists?

"Lu Lijun, Jiang Yang is right this time," said Lu Feng. "She would be fine with him."

Lu Lijun didn't listen and stepped to go upstairs.

Others looked at him. "What's with him?" Ning Jiahui commented.

"Don't worry," said Lu Feng as he followed Lu Lijun.

"Why is he acting like this these days? We didn't say anything to him about what he did. Is he taking advantage of our care?" Ning Jiahui frowned.

"Lu Feng will handle him. Don't worry," Elder Lu assured.

Lu Lijun reached the room and entered without even knocking on the door.

Jiang Yang was busy drying Jiang Yuyan's hair with the hairdryer as she sat in front of the dresser.

Lu Lijun saw she had a bath. "Why is he here? Where are the female servants in the home?" He thought.

Jiang Yang looked at Lu Lijun through the mirror. "Do I need to teach you the manners of knocking on the door before entering the lady's room?"

It angered Lu Lijun even more, and he looked at Jiang Yang the same way through the mirror. "Haven't I made it clear that she is not going anywhere?"

Jiang Yang turned off the hairdryer and turned to look at Lu Lijun. "And, haven't I made it clear that I know what I am doing?"

The two looked like enemies who didn't wish to see each other in their sights.

"She has been with the family for so long. Now you suddenly doubt if we can't take care of her," said Lu Lijun.

Jiang Yang was not ready to budge as he looked even colder.

"Not sure about others in the family, but there is someone who is just causing the troubles for my sister since he returned."

"I was wrong, but not now. I know how to care for my….."

"Stop it, you two," Jiang Yuyan shouted in her weak voice with as much strength she could gather.

Lu Feng arrived there as fast as he could, but these two had already created the mess by arguing till then.

Jiang Yuyan already guessed the words that Lu Lijun would say and didn't wish him to say it in front of her brother, or she didn't know what would happen. She didn't even wish anyone in the family to know what Lu Lijun's mind was filled with.

Jiang Yuyan looked at Lu Lijun through the mirror. "If you regret your actions even a bit, then keep quiet."

"I regret everything but not what I did and said the last night. I meant everything. For me…."

"Brother, take me away from here, please?" She said, lowering her head with her eyes shut in annoyance as tears rolled down from them.

"Did you hear it?" Jiang Yang asked mockingly.

Lu Lijun felt bad about the way she reacted, and it hurt him.

"Lu Lijun, let her go," said Lu Feng in a commanding way that Lu Lijun had to listen. Moreover, the way she asked her brother to take her away, Lu Lijun had nothing to say.

Lu Lijun left the room, leaving the three alone.

Jiang Yang looked at Lu Feng. "You should control your brother."

It was more like a warning from Jiang Yang, and he didn't look like Lu Feng's friend but was only a protective brother.

"Take care of her," is what Lu Feng could say as he knew that Jiang Yang listened to no one when it came to his sister.

Lu Feng looked at Jiang Yuyan, "Don't worry about here. Just rest."

Jiang Yuyan nodded lightly, and Lu Feng left the room to go to Lu Lijun.

Lu Feng maintained the neutral approach till now by not talking much as he didn't wish to take anyone's side among the two, Lu Lijun and Yuyan.

He cared for both, and both were right at their places. He chose to be by Lu Lijun's side only because he was worried he might do something bad that would worsen the situation.

Lu Lijun was young and spontaneous who couldn't control his emotions and thoughts, while Lu Feng knew Jiang Yuyan would handle herself, though he didn't expect her to be sick.

He was sure, going with Jiang Yang was best for her for now as it would keep her away from the stress that Lu Lijun caused, and she would get time to recover faster and think over what to do with Lu Lijun.

Once Lu Feng left, Jiang Yang went to the wardrobe, "I'll pack some clothes for you. Is there anything else you want to take with you?"

Jiang Yuyan stood up and walked slowly towards the bedside table. She looked at the two photo frames that were always on the table.

She picked up the one which had her wedding picture with Lu Qiang. She looked at the other photo frame, which had Lu Qiang and kid Lu Lijun in it, and it hurt to see that picture.

That kid she cared for all long was not the same person and did something that she never thought of even in her dreams.

She carried Lu Qiang and her picture and passed it to her brother.

It surprised Jiang Yang as to him it looked like she didn't plan to return here.
