Zeel stared at the inscriptions all over the temple and could not make heads or tails of the language.
"What is it?" The Red Queen asked.
Zeel shrugged "I don't know everything, just most things. My best guess is an Ancient, unevolved Race who had yet to master the art of writing,"
The Red Queen did not mind anymore and simply retreated into Mbeamer. If she was as naïve as previously, she would have believed anything Zeel said casually.
However, now she knew better, everything Zeel said at any time needed to be questioned. She needed to learn if she were to remain useful to him.
Zeel grabbed child Himiko's hand as his Mbeamer flashed with multi-colored light.
"Are you ready for your first Mjump? The feeling can be severe but you need to get back what you lost to ascend," Zeel said making sure the child understood what was about to happen.
Child Himiko's eyes glistened as she nodded her head excitedly "I am ready, sir,"
Zeel nodded and removed a crystal mirror with cyber-lines running over the surface. Then he handed the object to the Child Himiko with reluctance on his face.
"Since you don't have a watch like mine, you need to use this to Mjump with me. This is a very important object, so you can't lose it," Zeel said with pain apparent on his face.
The Red Queen could tell Zeel was not feigning the reluctance on his face but that was normal given his stingy nature.
Child Himiko was so excited that she immediately crushed the crystal mirror inside her hands.
The Red Queen was too absorbed by Zeel's kind nature to react in time for what happened next.
Still, she immediately tried to leave the Mbeamer when she recognized what the crystal mirror was.
However, Zeel made sure to trap The Red Queen firmly inside his Mbeamer.
The moment Child Himiko crushed the crystal mirror, the time zone around Zeel shifted, the world slowed, and the ground beneath his feet cracked.
The breaking of a mirror was heard, as the world behind Child Himiko seemed to shatter.
Zeel darted forward, noting the look of fear plastered onto the girl's face at the realization of what was to come.
*Bang*
Zeel focused all the lightning around his body into his feet and stamped Child Himiko into the mirror dimension that had opened immediately behind her.
In an instant, everything was over, Child Himiko had disappeared into the Mirror-dimension forever.
Rather, it was more like she disappeared into a deeper layer of the Mirror Dimension than even Zeel ever dared to venture.
"You gave her a speculum since the beginning… why? I don't understand?" The Red Queen questioned heartbroken as she materialized next to Zeel.
"She was just a child. She would become an angel eventually if we took back her purity. Even if we didn't she could still be useful to us. Doing Heaven a favor would just bring benefits for us.
Especially since we were already enemies with the Being that did that to HER!" The Red Queen shouted.
For a moment, she had forgotten her status as a Sentient, forgotten her status as an AI, she had forgotten everything and just wanted to voice the grievance in her heart for once.
"She said 'they'…" Zeel replied with a stoic face.
"WHAT?!?!" The Red Queen replied, still irked by the fact that Zeel had just killed a child right in front of her face.
Even if the kick didn't kill the Wanderer, she would still die after mere moments in the deepest layers of the Mirror Dimension.
"When we entered the passage, she said that she had never been there before. However, when we saw the Arch-Gate, she asked 'What are they?'…" Zeel said.
The Red Queen calmed down but still felt wronged in her heart.
"What is the significance of that?" she asked unconvinced.
"Arch-Gates or 'Gates of Space' was a Homo-Superior invention, and Homo-Superiors only cared about other Homo-Superiors.
Arch Gates were made using the bodies of members of the Races. It used life-essence to connect two points of space…
However, since this was a dark time for the Homo-Superior Race, we disguised the gate with our most advanced technology.
That's why it shifted states of matter constantly, to stop anyone from detecting the true composition.
Even you couldn't determine that the previous gate was made from hundreds of thousands of Human lives. Yet, that naïve little Wanderer Girl asked 'What are they?'…" Zeel said.
The Red Queen fell silent.
"What are the chances that it was just an accidental misinterpretation on your part?" The Red Queen asked.
"Highly likely," Zeel replied, not hiding the fact that he could have killed an innocent girl who just accidentally perceived the true nature of the Gate.
"Then why?" The Red Queen asked sadly.
'Shouldn't you be sure of the crime before you kill someone?' The Red Queen thought.
Zeel shook his head and replied, "I would sooner kill a thousand innocent people as long as one person amongst them could threaten my life!"
The Red Queen was immediately silenced since she knew that such was the cautiousness required by those who ventured the Multiverse. It was the reason Zeel had survived as long as he did.
A faint thought flickered through The Red Queen's mind for an instant.
'Maybe I am not suitable for Zeel?' She thought.
The Red Queen retreated into the Mbeamer, Zeel did not pay her any attention and toured the temple.
After a couple of minutes just walking around, Zeel stopped at the center of the temple and examined just a section of the inscriptions.
"Everything else is gibberish, but only this section actually means something," Zeel mused, slightly impressed.
While he was examining the inscriptions, Zeel felt a conflict birthed within his nanites. He hoped such a situation would not have occurred, but it had in the end.
The conflict meant that the Red Queen could no longer grow under his guidance because he was not suitable to add to her chosen path as a Sentient.
Zeel reached towards his Mbeamer and extracted a small red figure that looked like the cutest doll in the world.

It was The Red Queen, only she was now a Sentient instead of a simple AI.
Sentient cores were a smaller tangible version of themselves.
"You are sad?" Zeel asked.
The Red Queen nodded, her cheeks stained with tears.
Zeel sighed and placed the small figure on the ground, then he touched her forehead and the Red Queen fell asleep.
Zeel had just put her to sleep and stripped her of important memories pertaining to himself.
Certain memories would just cause her unnecessary pain now that she had chosen to develop toward Humanity.
He would just send her to Alice or Elizabeth since only the core of her existence was with him.
However, just before Zeel could program The Red Queen to return to the correct star system of Earth, an overwhelming feeling of dread assaulted him.
While he was busy attending to The Red Queen's Sentient Core, the inscriptions below his feet had rearranged themselves.
The moment Zeel looked down, he instantly recognized the inscriptions – Telkien Inscriptions.
Lightning burst out of Zeel's body and solidified into a massive circular shield that radiated power.
Zeel entered a different time zone, one second became one thousand seconds.
Zeel was straining his divinities to their maximum capabilities.
The Mbeamer around Zeel's wrists blazed with multi-colored lights as it rapidly charged for a cosmic wormhole to be opened immediately.
Still, when one second became a thousand, Zeel knew that it would take some time for the cosmic wormhole to become active.
*Step*
Faster than the eyes could perceive, faster than even the time zone allowed, Zeel took a step back.
This step ripped at the very fabric of reality, and what was left in Zeel's place was a warp.
This warp was different from any of Zeel's other warps since it radiated pure, white light.
Zeel had used his Dimensional Shift Divinity to pry open an entrance into the Light Dimension.
Zeel paid no attention to the infinite brightness surrounding himself…
*Step*
With another step back, Zeel had entered a plane of absolute darkness.
His Dimensional Shift ability had entered a Dark Dimension directly from The Light Dimension, but Zeel still did not feel at ease.
The Mbeamer on his hand still required a little more time.
However, it seemed that time was not going to be allowed.
Zeel stared forward as the feeling of dread intensified. From The Dark Dimension, he could see into The Light Dimension, and then into the temple.
There, Zeel saw a first radiating pure purple-energy break through his Divine Lightning shield, then the first continued and broke through The Light Dimension.
Zeel's eyes bled, and the corner of his mouth leaked blood, but still, he pushed his divinity once more, to the point of self-injury.
It was already lucky that his divinity did not just dissipate already.
*Step*
With another powerful step backward, Zeel was once again in the normal world. The Cosmic Wormhole behind him was ready to escape, but he was still not relieved.
The fist chasing him broke into The Dark Dimension, and then into Normal World, appearing right in front of his face in an instant.
Zeel quickly programmed a coordinate into The Red Queen and sent her away into the starry skies above.
She turned into a shooting star and disappeared into the expanse of space.
Then he crossed his arms in front of his head as the Cosmic Wormhole tugged at his body with intense gravitational force.
His Mbeamer was attempting to pull him from his current Universe before the attack landed. Alas, it was not meant to be.
*Puchi*
The fist impacted Zeel's arms and they instantly turned into blood mist.
Zeel's eyes grew wide with fear as the fist continued forward unimpeded by his diamond-hard divine body, he knew that a difficult decision had to be made.
Tilting his head to a side, Zeel used one half of his body to shield the other half.
*Puchi*
As if there was never anything there, half of Zeel's body turned into a blood mist and then oblivion itself.
The only thing to be preserved in its entirety was his head – the most important part for a Homo-Superior.
Still, Zeel knew he would probably still die with half his body missing.
His body was not the problem, the problem was that half his nanites had disappeared, and his divinities were overexerted to the point of emptiness.
*Whoosh*
Luckily, the cosmic wormhole tugged Zeel away before the fist could do any more damage. With a flash of Multi-colored lights, Zeel was gone from The Tomb Raider Universe…
On the verge of death, and incredibly weakened, Zeel drifted through the bright currents of the cosmic Wormhole.
Where he ended up, not even the owner of the fist that tore through space could know.
