Sparks flew as two Beings, disappearing and reappearing at random intervals, fought incessantly over a mountain of corpses.

The stench of blood permeated the battlefield but neither of the two people relented with their attacks.

Each attack created deep craters that would later erupt with flames from the depths of the Earth.

In the distance, you could see buildings falling, mountains splitting, and lava shooting up from beneath the Earth. You could also see flight-capable ships shooting away from the planet and into space.

This was planet Marton, home to a fairly advanced warp-capable civilization known as The Martonians.

The Martonians did not have any specific abilities, but they could manipulate the energy within their bodies to enhance their physique.

The unique golden energy produced by their planet was the pride and joy of every Martonian.

Yet, even will all their might, Planet Marton was on the verge of destruction because of one woman.

No… not a woman but a Demoness that fell from the heavens.

She had deep-blue eyes and didn't look a day over eighteen. She had pale white skin and was relatively short, only barely reaching a height of 5"6. Her hair was silver-white, but the white was much more pronounced than the silver.

However, despite the white of her hair that should have represented purity, the Demoness was anything but pure. She killed relentlessly and without any remorse.

The most eye-catching thing about her was the cold, desolate, purple eyes with which she watched all those she killed.

Codes were always flickering inside her purple pupils, calculating the unfathomable mysteries of the Universe.

Mamon stared at his opponent with a bitter smile on his face. He was already 300 years old and the strongest of his race.

He had no problem splitting mountains with a stick he found on the ground, but the Demoness was an opponent unlike any he had faced before.

Three days ago, the Demoness before him fell from the skies in a burst of multi-colored lights.

He didn't know what abilities she possessed, but the instant she landed, with a snap of her fingers, all technology across the planet malfunctioned and exploded.

Luckily, destroying all technology on planet Marton seemed to have cost her the majority of her strength.

It was because of that reason he had enough time to gather a one million men army to oppose her.

The one million versus one battle lasted for the next two days until only Mamon, the strongest Martonian, remained to oppose the demoness. He watched as countless friends and families died before his eyes.

However, he couldn't pay them any heed because the moment he removed his eyes from the Demoness in front of him, he would also die.

Mamon's task was only to hold the Demoness back for as long as possible so others had a chance to escape the planet.

Martonians had not discovered space exploration for long, so they still had not discovered any other planets that could house the survivors.

Chances are, the escaping Martonians would wander in the void of space until they ran out of supplies and died.

But a small chance was still a chance nonetheless. It was better than the guaranteed death that awaited them by remaining on Planet Marton.

Mamon and the Demoness suddenly stopped fighting and reappeared in their respective positions as if they had never left.

Suddenly, the Demoness fell to her knees, clutching the right side of her body with intense pain apparent on her face. Half of the demoness' body seemed to turn red, as several inscriptions wiggled under her skin.

Mamon knew that he could not let this opportunity pass, so he quickly gathered all the remaining strength in his body and used it to set his sword ablaze with golden energy.

He disappeared from his spot, and the next moment his sword had penetrated the heart of the still kneeling Demoness.

However, instead of feeling the relief that accompanied revenge for his fallen comrades, he instead felt intense dread.

Then, the Doman spoke for the first time since she came to Planet Marton, her voice was soft and pleasant enough to shame the singing of an angel.

"He is hurt… I originally held back because I wanted your people to evacuate since I only need the energy of the planet, but it seems that my mercy has cost my brother dearly," The Demoness said with genuine concern in her tone.

The sword that pierced her heart slowly dissolved from Mamon's hands. The wound on the body of the Demoness had already healed.

Mamon felt his legs go weak as the Earth, for thousands of miles, vibrated intensely. It was as if the planet itself feared what would happen next.

The Demoness raised her hand in the air, several cyber-lines appearing on her arms.

Suddenly, millions of swords, spears, and other weaponry scattered across the battlefield floated into the air.

The weapons began to twist and reshape, forming cannons that pulsed with intense energy.

This was the true capability of a Race that was supposed to vanish along with Universe 0, a Race that reached the pinnacle of technological prowess… a Race known as Homo-Superiors.

With a snap of the Demoness's fingers, there was a bright light and then absolute silence.

Planet Marton had been cleansed of the remaining population within an instant. All it took was a pulse of energy from millions of cannons simultaneously and everything was gone.

And all of this was done by a simple snap of The Demoness's fingers.

Mamon brought his hands to his face as he knelt and cried like a child. No matter how hard he fought, he knew that the woman was holding back in the end.

His goal was ever to only entertain her enough, but it seemed that he had failed in even that menial task. Now, his people had paid for his lack of ability.

With everything finished, the Demoness materialized a cyber-sword in her hands and pointed it at Mamon's neck. There was only indifference to be seen in her eyes.

It was as if she cared about nothing, watching everything around her die did not elicit any reaction from her frozen heart.

"May I know to which great warrior I lost?" Mamon asked, hoping to get a name so he could curse her on his way to Heaven.

The Demoness raised a brow and removed the sword from Mamon's neck with a playful look on her face. She walked into the distance and raised her left hand in the air.

Slowly, a Mbeamer formed on her wrist and began to siphon the golden energy of Planet Marton's core.

The Mbeamer on her wrist was similar to Zeel's but held a completely different function and design.

Zeel's Mbeamer was geared towards efficiency and sustainability during energy conversion.

However, the Demoness' Mbeamer was like a devourer that sucked every spec of energy from the environment.

Mamon watched as, starting from the horizon, the entire planet turned into a pitch-black wasteland. All the energy was being absorbed into the Mbeamer on the woman's wrist.

Since the beginning, Mamon had wondered why such a powerhouse would pay attention to his little planet, as it turned out, she wanted the unique energy produced by the planet's core.

Beautiful colored lights started to flicker in the skies until it turned into a wormhole that slowly encompassed the Demoness.

Before she left, the Demoness answered Mamon's question. Perhaps it was due to his powerlessness, or maybe due to him being a worthy warrior.

"My name is…. Catherine Crawford!!"

Just like that, in a flash, the Demoness had disappeared from Planet Marton… no, she had disappeared from the Universe entirely.

BOOM

With a planet-sized explosion, Planet Marton was lost in the annals of history, never to be seen or heard from again.

In The Tomb Raider Universe, a red streak flashed across space. The streak had been traveling beyond the speed of light for millions of miles to get back to Earth.

Currently, the streak had just entered the solar system of Earth. If one looked closely enough, they would realize that the streak resembled a small girl with her eyes tightly shut.

However, the closer she got to Earth, the more aware the small girl became.

It would not be long until The Red Queen opened her eyes once more, but this time, she would have a few gaps in her memories.
