Tian Guangming walked into the stone city in glee. He looked at the people behind and waved his hands, “Don’t worry, I will take the stone flame out and pass it to Master.”
Heaven Heart sighed helplessly. He didn’t bother to look at Tian Guangming brag.
Peng!
When Tian Guangming entered the stone city, the doors were shut right away. The heavy thud terrified him and when he turned his head, he realized that the path ahead was pitch black.
Apart from the corner that fell down, the other parts were hidden.
The space was dark so the stone city was dark too apart from this corner. Tian Guangming gulped. He regretted not pulling his disciple in.
In the pitch-black stone city, soul scouting was useless too.
Tian Guangming tried to use his bright light true qi to light up the area but his light could only light up 100 meters.
On the outside world, Tian Guangming’s light could cover 3,000 miles. It could even change the sky from day to night.
But here, he was only able to light up 100 meters.
As there was no spiritual energy here, all of this was supported by Tian Guangming’s own true qi.
“100 meters… so be it, better than nothing.” Tian Guangming muttered. He started to move from that corner towards the dark city.
The dark city, 100 meters, a decently sized region. Tian Guangming looked on closely.
At that moment, he didn’t dare act arrogantly and instead became really careful.
After all, his own life was the most important.
Within the Bank of the Universe, Li Xiandao and Seven saw the situation within the stone city.
The two of them looked on carefully.
“The stone city has been through many wars and it seems riddled by those marks.” Seven said.
Li Xiandao looked on with all his focus, “Let’s see what Tian Guangming would face. I didn’t expect the fated person the stone race Heaven Emperor was referring to was actually Tian Guangming.”
Seven smiled.
She said, “I didn’t expect that either but Tian Guangming isn’t bad too okay… He has been unlucky and now that he has met a good opportunity, as his Master, you are talking bad about him behind his back.”
Li Xiandao thought about how tough it was all this way for Tian Guangming but he still looked on carefully. Tian Guangming’s luck hadn’t been good, so he didn’t have high hopes for him this time.
Seven burst out laughing. She thought back to how Tian Guangming searched for a primordial divinity and then found a female angel’s one. He nearly changed his gender and she couldn’t help but smile.
“One can’t always be unlucky. It is time for Tian Guangming to get lucky.” Seven said.
Li Xiandao didn’t care and continued with his doubtful attitude.
The two of them were speaking. Whether Tian Guangming was lucky or unlucky, he had already improved a lot.
The stone city was silent, so quiet that even a pin drop could be heard.
Tian Guangming walked on and stopped being afraid.
He walked for so long and all sounds were made by him.
There weren’t any other sounds.
He looked carefully at the streets and houses and didn’t notice anyone.
He didn’t even see a single cockroach.
The entire stone city was as silent as death.

Tian Guangming started to search boldly for the stone flame that Li Xiandao needed.
The stone city was huge and this had to be a giant stone race city. It was vast, the streets were wide and there were countless amounts of houses. Tian Guangming walked on just like that and a while later, he saw a giant square.
The center of it was connected to all areas. In the middle, there was a statue.
The statue was of a majestic male but it was weird that the other parts were exquisitely carved. Even small threads and lines were carved and only his face wasn’t. He had no features and it seemed really outstanding compared to everything else.
What shocked Tian Guangming was that he also saw a bunch of people kneeling towards this statue.
Right humans!
Tian Guangming looked on from afar. They were exactly like humans but when he got close, he realized that they were all stone people.
The people in the city all worshipped this statue.
Those scenes were forever fixed like that.
Tian Guangming looked on carefully and didn’t notice anything. When he was prepared to search, at that moment, a voice shocked him.
“Young man, what are you looking for?”
That voice was old and weak, like a candle in the wind that could extinguish at any moment.
Tian Guangming was frightened and immediately looked at that faceless statue.
A person walked over slowly.
He was as thin as a skeleton. His aura was weak and he looked like he could die at any moment.
This was an old man who looked like he had been buried for a few hundred years and then dug out. There were a few strands of hair that looked like they could fall off right away. His clothes were torn and tattered and those parts that were revealed were ashen white.
This old man’s flesh was mostly decomposed and only white bones were left. Even those parts that weren’t were just covered in a layer of shriveled, dead meat.
Tian Guangming asked solemnly, “Who are you?”
“I forgot my own name.” The old man cried.
Tian Guangming frowned, “Why are you here?”
“I entered this space by mistake and was swept in by wind and wasn’t able to break free. I was lost in this damn city.” The old man cried. He stammered like a person speaking his final words.
“Over these years, as this place had no spiritual energy and one couldn’t cultivate, I relied on my own cultivation to last until now. Now, I turned into this, not a human, not a ghost.” The old man was crying but no tears fell down. His eyes even turned into holes that were empty.
“Do you know if there is a flame here?” Tian Guangming had an idea and asked.
“Stone flame?” The old man stopped and said.
“Right, stone flame.” Tian Guangming nodded.
“In the city lord’s residence, there is a ball of it.” The old man trembled and pointed.
Tian Guangming looked at how tough it was for him and wanted to tell him to stop. What if he broke his arm? His arm wouldn’t just be fractured, but it would snap.
“But it is useless even if you get it. This city is sealed so no one can go out.” The old man said regretfully.
“Do you know how I got in?” Tian Guangming laughed.
The old man was stunned and then it seemed like he had hope. He rushed to Tian Guangming and asked, “You didn’t enter by accident?”
“Of course not, I am a fated person.” Tian Guangming said.
“Can you help me?” The old man begged.
“Of course, it is not for nothing. I have many treasures outside. Let me tell you the address, you can collect the treasure and then come to save me.” The old man added.
“Why don’t you follow me out?” Tian Guangming asked curiously.
“If I go out like this I will die right away. My soul has dried up and I can barely survive for a while in this dead city with no spiritual energy. If I go out and the spiritual energy surges at me, I won’t be able to handle it.” The old man explained the reason.
