Fang Rou didn’t know how strong Xiang Ning was. Every time she thought she had seen his strength, he became even stronger—including this time. Challenging the other academies was extremely dangerous, because it meant that you were questioning the authorities of that academy. While it was true that only those of the same age could challenge each other, there were so many students in the first year. Once you start, it’s not something that ends even if you wanted to.
Xiang Ning would either defeat all of them, or they would defeat him. The odds would never be in his favor.
“Alright, but I think they should’ve received news of your return. Even if you didn’t go for them, they would naturally come to our academy.”
“That’s why I’ll pummel everyone that bullied my sister before I go to Third School. Revenge should be served cold,” Xiang Ning said in a serious tone, but Fang Rou was amused by it.
“But what if they know how strong you are and don’t attack you?” Fang Rou laughed. Xiang Ning remained the same and could even be humorous when the situation was this dire.
“Then I have no choice but to give up on physically attacking them. I’ll attack them mentally instead.” He scratched his head.
“Mental attacks?”
“I’ll insult them and their entire ancestral line. This should be enough for them to start attacking me,” he said.
Fang Rou was speechless. Not because of what Xiang Ning had said, but at how she just believed him without questioning it. She would even believe him if he had said that he would tie them all up and beat them.
He was scary!
They parted ways soon after.
Xiang Ning was happy, because he already had fifty thousand Fury Points. To celebrate his return, he decided to try his luck and used ten thousand Fury Points for the raffle. He wanted to prepare some pills for tomorrow. Within five minutes, he got thirty pills. Xiang Ning was speechless. Ten thousand Fury Points was enough for him to draw a hundred times, but he only got thirty pills. That meant the odds to obtain something were roughly thirty-three percent!
Looking at the stream of messages that thanked him for his patronage, he almost spat out blood. He used the raffle one last time and a golden light emerged from it. Xiang Ning was excited! Here it comes!
A silver ring appeared, along with a paper stamped with a golden border.
Dimensional Ring: Through the manipulation of space, the ring can store three-dimensional objects in a four-dimensional space.
Xiang Ning was stumped. Even if the technology right now was advanced, he still didn’t understand much about space or quantum physics. He only knew a bit about the third and fourth dimensions. But he was certain of one thing. He could store his items in this ring!
He contemplated wearing the ring on his finger before deciding against it. Instead, he bought a cheap string and looped it around his neck.

He took out his communicator and followed the instructions that appeared in his brain. His communicator disappeared as soon as he did so. He quickly sensed the interior of the ring and found that it was lying safely in a ten-meter cube of space. He was extremely elated! He remembered the paper and took a look at it. He was dumbfounded.
It was the blueprint on how to craft a dimensional ring!
“Hey! Get off the road!” A car almost hit him and braked just inches from him. But upon seeing that Xiang Ning hadn’t been hurt, the driver sighed and left.
Xiang Ning was also surprised by the car, but soon came to his senses. He realized that he held an item that was far ahead of the current technology! He gulped. He was now the owner of something incredible, and even knew the method of making it!
The paper had disappeared as the information on how to create the ring had been imprinted into his brain. Many complex formulas had flooded his mind, momentarily paralyzing him. That was why he was almost hit by that car.
He walked back to his home in a daze; luckily only he knew about it right now.
Just as he opened the door, he heard a soft whooshing sound. Xiang Ning gently called for his sister, but there was no answer. He silently entered the house and was shocked by what he saw.
Xiang Xiaoyu was silently sitting on the floor levitating two stones. The stones rose and fell, clearly because she wasn’t able to fully control her power yet. She was cultivating.
He walked up without disturbing her. Only when both of the stones were back on the ground did Xiang Ning speak up.
“Xiaoyu, I see that you’re cultivating.”
“Ah, brother, you are back!” She saw that her brother had returned and came to his side. “Did you see it?”
“Yep. But I recall that only a tier one, four-star spiritual cultivator should be able to use telekinesis?” Xiang Ning questioned.
“Hehe, I was taught by Uncle Zhao! He was an amazing spiritual cultivator!” Her face reddened in excitement. She told him about what had happened in his absence. Xiang Ning finally realized who had rescued him from the Tyrant Spider in the abandoned mine—it was Uncle Zhao!
“Uncle Zhao left to visit his children yesterday. He told me that you’d return today. Looks like he didn’t lie!”
Xiang Ning nodded and patted her head. “Alright, it’s late now. Quickly shower and go rest.”
“Okay!” She went back to her room.
Xiang Ning remained in the hall and bowed toward Uncle Zhao’s workshop.
