'Things are going very well…'
From the very beginning, I had often wondered how I came to possess something such as a 'Vegetation' attribute when it's only an artificial creation made by mixing elements, but recently, I came to understand that meaning.
Unlike the other attributes that Omni-Mastery allowed me to pick up, even a pseudo Vegetation attribute was only obtainable thanks to the dragon gene that I possessed! This was thoroughly proven when it was promoted to a true attribute after I used the Green Dragon's blood essence as evolution material!
While attribute possessors used the Laws and the rules of the world to use elements, dragons were mavericks of nature that had sovereignty over their laws! The Green Dragon had an affinity with the Fire and Wind attributes, but it was evident that his core was the Vegetation attribute.
Although possessing the attribute allowed me to manifest no such thing as Vegetation Elements, its existence was very beneficial. Despite the fact that using 'Cultivation Practice' was still very elementally draining, I was surprised to find the consumption to be lower than the one suggested in the method's description!
From an analytical point of view, it was impossible to decrease the amount of 'nutrients' required for the plants to grow. However, it was very feasible to cut out the waste. In simple words, the Vegetation Attribute's existence granted me efficiency in consumption when dealing with plants! More importantly…
'The Green Dragon's resting place is anything but ordinary.'
The consumption decreased once more once the propagation phase had succeeded! This time, it was a direct decrease rather than an efficiency increase. Something else was supplying the nutrients required for the sustenance of the plants that I created while making them far more obedient than they should be!
I had already hypothesized that the Green Mountain Range would support me in the same way it suppressed the enemies, especially when considering I was utilizing the attribute it was built upon. However, since I didn't want to leave anything to chance, I was fully ready to drain out my potion stock for the sake of the plan. Although that no longer seemed necessary now…
There was no direct mental connection, but I could tell that this support wasn't momentary. Instead, I was being told that I would receive it as long as I stood. Naturally, I had no plan to waste that chance.
'Grow!'
Investing in a portion of the elements that I got to save thanks to the perfect combo of efficiency and support, I fed the vines to grow stronger and sturdier. Rather than being stingy, going all out was the right answer in a desperate situation like this!

"Take them down!"
"Cut their numbers!"
With the growing ability of the vines, some of the weaker Corrupted and Demons lost their heads after their necks were crushed into nothing. Half of what the potion shot had replenished was already gone, but it was more than worth it.
"Destroy the living traps!"

There were too few demons who were weak enough to die to the vines, but the mindless Corrupted were easy prey. Although every one of them only contributed a meager amount of EP, their sheer number was already causing my EP bar to visibly move!
Some shamans were even quickly snagged by the vines before their guards started looking out for the enemy coming from the ground.
"It's him! Push forward and take him down!"
Naturally, I had no time to waste focusing on the little details as the smarter demons with larger visibility range sensed my hands' involvement in the matter. Unfortunately, I couldn't move if I wanted to keep the connection and give the half-dragons the chance to decrease the enemy's numbers, but…
"It's your time to shine, Light!"
Opening up Light's status using 'Blood Companion', I quickly made a few modifications based on the numbers that we agreed upon before the start of the battle.

"Meow!"
It was only an instant, but Light suddenly jumped out from under my armor. Feeling the new strength flowing through his body, Light let his body grow up as in to take it in more aggressively. Through the shared thoughts we had, I could tell that he was extremely excited!
However, rather than being excited about growing stronger, Light was actually more excited about having attained the ability to protect me! In the situation where I couldn't move while he had finally attained the strength where I wouldn't be worried about him fighting, Light's dream of fighting side by side was finally coming true!
"Sir Azure, be careful!"
Although the half-dragons did their best to push away and stop the demons from advancing, there was no stopping the special personnel existing within the army made up of dozens of small armies. In no time, a demon with slim long arms killed its way through the half-dragons' ranks and swiftly dashed at me.
"I will extinguish your puny life, you annoying pest!"
"Meow!"
'Is this really okay?'
Even though I already planned it to be this way, I had a sudden thought to drop my 'vine bending' and confront the demon in front of me once I saw Light stand up to it. Part of me was unnecessarily worried at Light, while the other half simply didn't like the fact that I had my hands tied…
"Meeeeow!"
"What is this stupid animal doing here… Wait!"
Having read that thought through our connection, Light let out a reverse-intimidating cry as he jumped on the demon. I always felt apprehensive about involving him considering how young he was but in reality...
"Meowww!"
Not to mention his Agility that had just skyrocketed, the legacy that he inherited made him more than a match for his enemy!
