Michael just reluctantly accepted, at least he could immediately level up his Mining Skill to Level 2!

-A skill needed to dig in the mines’ grounds.
-Slightly increases the effectiveness of pickaxes and shovels.
-Will increase in strength and stamina as the skill grows.
-If you find high quality minerals, your luck and fame will increase.
"Let’s start" Michael muttered, as he once again started his boring and arduous task of mining for ores.
Ting! Tang! Ting! Tang!
This time though, Michael felt that his speed has increased as the pickaxe seems to be able to penetrate the rock wall a bit more smoothly than before when he didn’t have the [Beginner Mining] skill.

Michael is digging up ore after ore, it was because this area that they are at is actually a newly discovered ore deposit and he was lucky enough that he was brought here by the kind people of Timor Village.
And at the same time, he was also happy that he could at least get some Exp. Points for every successful ore that he digs up!
[You only have five minutes left of game time! Please postpone or leave if you’re in a dungeon! The company won’t be responsible for any losses if you are forcefully logged out!]
Suddenly, a message window appeared in front of him, warning him that his time is almost over, which startled him a bit as he was too focused on what he’s currently doing.
[You have unearthed an Iron Ore!]
[You have gained 25 EXP!]
Michael dug up one more ore before he logged off, his disappearance didn’t even elicit surprised or suspicions from the nearby NPCs, as they acted like Michael didn’t exist from the very beginning as they just continued doing their own thing.

Outside the game.
After an early dinner from his parent’s place.
"Ah, what should I do today?" Michael muttered to himself while lying on his bed, feeling extremely lazy today for some reason.
"Should I got out and look for Amanda?"
"Hmm...I think I’d look like a stalker if I do that. I think I should just ask Jenny about it when we bump into each other again or maybe I could invite her for a coffee?"
Michael is having a monologue of his own, as he didn’t know what to do for the remainder of the day this time, as he’s even feeling lazy to get some exercise outside.
"Hmmm...maybe I should just watch TV or something"
Michael murmured as he then stood up from his bed and left his apartment, and slowly made his way up towards the third floor.
"Ahh~ why the heck is that Dylan not even inviting me to go have some fun? Tsk, he’s become too addicted to the game lately" Michael sighed, while walking up through the stairs.
Michael arrived in front of his parent’s place, and then he took out his keys from his pockets and opened the door, then he immediately headed towards his room after greeting Alice who is busy watching her TV shows in the living room.
Michael went inside his room, and immediately opened his desktop computer, and when it booted up, he immediately opened Netflix, logged in and started browsing for any interesting shows to watch.
"King’s Avatar?"
Michael, from out of curiosity pressed the Show’s Title, and started binge watching the episodes of the netflix show.
[That’s the Vanishing Step, right!?]
[What!!! Where is he!?]
"Ohh~ this show is really interesting" Michael said while watching from his bed, and eating some snacks at the same time.
"This guy is good, I didn’t know that this kind of keyboard games is still popular?" Michael murmured, thoroughly immersed in the story, as he put a couple of chips in his mouth and started munching on them.
"Ohh! Ohhh~!"
[Dragon Raises Its Head!]
"This game is actually pretty cool...sadly, it would’ve been better if they had turned it into a VR Game" Michael said, as he watched the MC dominate his opponent like it was nothing.
Ring! Ring! Ring!
Suddenly, Michael scowled as he heard his phone ringing beside him.
Michael picked his phone up and saw that it was Dylan calling him, so took the call and said, "What is it?"
"Bro! You should’ve told me th-"
Michael immediately hung up on him as he already knew what Dylan is gonna say.
Meanwhile.
"Hello? Hello? Michael, are you there?"
"Damn, he hung up on me, geez! This asshole, I just wanted to ask him if he has any items suitable for my class"
*****
Michael instead sent a text to him, as his eyes are still glued to the computer screen, this time he was watching a different show and its related to the supernatural. It was a show called Jinn.
"Are Jinns actually real though? Never seen one before, but I did meet a couple of ghosts before...and heck, they’re nasty as hell!"
"Territorial b*tches!"
