Two in-game days later.
Michael has once again raised his level, and he’s now truly standing on top of the entire player base at Level 39, while Miya is closely following behind him at Level 35, halfway through Level 36.
\"This is the last obstacle in clearing this dungeon,\" Michael said with a smile on his face as he and Miya gazed at the huge door before their them that stands at least three meters in height with skulls and bones from different species decorated all over the door.
\"Once we conquer this dungeon, Flame Rose Guild would have rights to it, indefinitely. After all, there’s no governing monarchy in this place\" Miya said as her eyes shined with excitement and anticipation.
\"Yep, you guys would do have the rights to the dungeon, but don’t forget that this dungeon is located in Everwinter. Even I’m having a hard time differentiating the correct directions here because everything is covered in white and looks the same\" Michael shrugged his shoulders with a laugh, remembering how awful it was the first time he ventured inside Everwinter.
\"Is the land outside of this dungeon really as bad as the stories you told me before? Because that would be a serious problem\"
Miya’s joyful mood suddenly became depressed after remembering all the stories that Michael had told her during their time together inside this dungeon.
\"Yeah, I’ve only seen Ice Trolls so far, so I don’t know if there are other monsters residing in this land apart from them,\" Michael said, then he started preparing to make a fire and cook them a meal before the door of the Dungeon Boss.
Miya crouched down in front of Michael and said to him with a serious tone, \"Hey, do you think we could take on the Boss with just the two of us?\"
\"Nope,\" Michael didn’t even hesitate for a second to reply to her question.
\"Huh~!? Then why are we even trying? Shouldn’t we get someone to help us on the raiding the Boss, instead of recklessly facing it?\" Miya slightly opened her mouth while staring at Michael, baffled.
Michael just shrugged his shoulders and said, \"It doesn’t hurt to try\"
\"After all, it’s not like we could even get someone to help us right now, knowing that we don’t even know the way to the entrance of this Dungeon, and besides, I have a pretty good guess that the level of the Boss might be just around Level 45, just six levels higher than me\"
\"And if its a Level 50 Boss, then that’s just our bad luck\"
Miya gave an exasperated sigh at him as she can’t believe this guy in front of her.
\"Yahh! If we die while fighting the Boss, then all of our hard work and the days we spent inside this place would be all for naught!\"
Miya angrily looked at Michael while crossing her arms over her chest.
\"Then too bad for us\"
Michael just shrugged his shoulders as he really doesn’t have any proper answers to her questions right now. After all, he would only be able to assess their chances of winning against the Dungeon Boss when they finally meet each other...and it won’t be long now.
\"You’re really unbelievable\" Miya looked at Michael and gave a bitter laugh.
\"Right, you were about to tell me something before that Dullahan suddenly appeared behind us and started attacking us,\" said Michael as he started chopping some vegetables on the stone table he made.
\"Oh that, just wanted to tell you that my sister Minerva and Cereal are now dating,\" Miya said like the news wasn’t a big deal at all, as her eyes are still focused on what Michael is currently doing.
Cough! Cough! Cough!
Thud!

\"They did what!?\"
Michael started coughing after Miya said those words, and then he angrily slapped his knife on the stone table and stared at Miya intently.
Miya rolled her eyes and said, \"Minerva and Cereal are dating\"
Michael shook his head as he picked up his knife and continued on chopping the vegetables.
’I thought that asshole likes Jenny?’
Miya rested her head on her hands and looked confusedly at Michael.
\"Is it bad that the two of them are daring?\"
\"Or could it be that Cereal already has a girlfriend in real life?\"
Miya looked at Michael like she had just unearthed a piece of huge news, and at the same time, her face was clouded with anger when she realized that Cereal might have been lying on her sister all this time!
\"No, it’s not that\" Michael quickly said as he doesn’t want her to have any misunderstanding because of his reaction earlier.
\"It’s just that I didn’t expect that asshole would have a girlfriend before me. If I say that I’m bad at wooing girls, then he’s far more even worse than me. That’s why I was surprised when you told me that he’s dating your sister\"
Michael didn’t want to tell her that Cereal had a girl that he liked before Minerva as he didn’t want to cause any misunderstanding between the couple.
After all, most girls are sometimes overthinker.
\"Does that mean you don’t have a girlfriend yet?\"
Miya looked brightly at Michael as she blinked her eyes rapidly at him.
Cough! Cough! Cough!
While stirring the pot, Michael couldn’t help but start coughing when he heard what she had just said and saw the look in Miya’s eyes.
\"I’m not saying that I’m not single anymore, but I do have a girlfriend...kind of,\" said Michael.
Miya scowled and said, \"Huh? What do you mean by that?\"
\"I mean, I do have...one? But we’re not official yet\"
Michael clearly knew that he was just babbling nonsense. After all, he’s not even clear what his relationship with Amanda stands at right now, especially now that they finally discovered who the heck they are in the gaming world, where it certainly made their already complicated attitude towards each other even worse than it already is.
\"So you are not dating yet then, right?\" Miya said with a grin on her face, as her somewhat depressed mood earlier at least brightened up a bit.
\"Ohh, yeah. I guess we’re still not, that’s why it’s complicated!\"
Michael isn’t a dense person, he knows what Miya is clearly hinting at, especially that look that she’s giving him right now.
’Oh boy, this is trouble’ Michael thought to himself as he could already feel the dark clouds brewing on top of him.
