Virtual Reality Department.
"That’s it for today. Remember to prepare the money for the upcoming trip next week"
After reminding the students of the excursion for the upcoming week, the teacher left.
Michael looked at the Maine and Lisa who were sitting on his left and right saying, "Seriously, a MT this early in the semester? When school had just started?"
"I heard from my cousin who’s in her third year that it’s pretty common for our major to have MTs this early especially since the VR technology boomed into popularity, but I don’t really understand how an MT relates to it" replied Maine while scribbling something in her notebook.
"Really? Damn, it’s been a few years since I stopped my studies and a lot of things had already changed huh? Because I’ve never heard this kind of thing when I was preparing for college back then" Michael could only chuckle, as he wasn’t really expecting that he’d go for another trip when he had just gotten back from one.
Lisa laughed and said, "Of course, the Virtual Reality Department was just created last year. So the school is using MTs to attract students into our department even though VR is mainstream now, but not everyone is interested in learning it as they just want to play"
"Tsk!"
Then Michael heard someone clicking their tongue, and when he looked for the person responsible for it. He saw a group of three men sitting on the front row below looking at them, especially him with eyes full of displeasure before all of them looked away when they saw him looking at them.
Looking at those kids, Michael couldn’t help but chuckle as his eyes flashed with a cold glint when he remembered that he was actually the oldest here, but also the most popular as he got the two hottest chicks of their year on his left and right.
Well, even though they’re just friends, it still counts.
And in his eyes, Maine, Lisa and the others are just kids, which is actually amusing for him as the guys in their batch are jealous of him, a guy who’s enough to be their uncle.
"Kids"
"Is that an indirect shot to us?"
Michael mumbled to himself, but the two girls surprisingly had sharp hearing as they managed to hear him and shot him a cold look, which only made him chuckle.
"Haha, no. I just remembered some memories from when I was the same age as you guys" said Michael to the two ladies while placing his books and notes inside his bag.
Then he stood up and looked at the two ladies and said, "Anyway, I’m heading home, what about you two?"
Lisa was the one who answered him saying, "We’ll head home later as we’re planning to head to the library and study with the other girls"
Michael then smiled saying, "Alright then, see you two later in the afternoon"
And after that, Michael left the classroom and made his way to the parking lot of the school as he greeted people he was familiar with along the way.
Returning home.

Michael made lunch for himself, followed by a shower and drying his hair as he sat down on his bed looking at the virtual cabin at the side that he hadn’t been using in a long while as he kept using his recently purchased virtual helmet after he gave his old one to Athena.
Flash!
A ragged figure appeared inside a small crevice-like cave on the cliff wall.
The figure crawled towards the entrance of the cave, revealing the face of Shadow whose face is covered in soot and dust, looking like a beggar with his ragged attire that had seen its days.
"F*ck this map" cursed Shadow under his breath as he’s really frustrated at how weak he is!
Something he’d kept repeating because it annoys him!
Shadow left the small crevice on the cliff and looked around him, making sure that there weren’t any monsters lurking around.
He then quietly summoned Aron, and the duo continued their journey to the unknown.
Surprisingly, but also not surprising at the same time, they didn’t meet any monsters along the way except for a couple of ordinary small animals that are living around the Dragon Valley.
Shadow also had the time to harvest herbs he saw along the ground and hanging on the cliffs.
[Dragon Grass] [Rare]
A rare herb that only grows in Dragon Valley. An ingredient for making Advance Potions.
"Ohh, nice~. I can maybe sell it or use it to brew potions when I get the chance" Shadow smiled while hanging with one hand on the cliff side, and he quickly stuffed the herb inside his [Storage] before carefully climbing down.
But he had just taken a step forward when he suddenly had a chilling sensation on his back, and he hastily ran to the side with his back against the cliff wall with Aron, who was surprisingly trembling from head to toe.
"Crap, you felt it too huh?" said Michael at Aron with trembling lips as he could feel this terrifying pressure covering his entire body and maybe even encompassing the entire Dragon Valley too!
Shadow looked up and saw a growing shadow in the distant skies and moving towards their direction.
"I wonder who’s bigshot it is?" Michael could only chuckle to himself as he’s truly annoyed at this game that can make people like him helpless inside.
And when Shadow finally got a clear look of it, he couldn’t help but curse, "Crap, so there’s really dragons on the other side of the valley"
Realizing that this adventure might end in failure, Shadow felt lost as he’s not sure whether he should laugh or cry instead!
F*cking game!
Swoosh~!
The large red dragon, with the length of three school buses lined up together, flew over them and bringing with it a large gust of wind and dust as Shadow and Aron hurriedly shielded their eyes.
While the monsters living in the valley were all hiding in their own hiding places as they didn’t dare to move about with the presence of an ultimate apex predator.
