One of the defining qualities of Pandemonium has almost always been the rivalry between the inhabitants of the Babylonian and Luminance continents. Which, predates even the empires that currently rule them. This rivalry is the direct cause of both; extensive periods of development in every measurable way for Pandemonium as a whole, as well as hundreds of wars that lasted for up to a thousand years and lead to the termination of the lives of countless sentient creatures. Aleksandr Aurelius-Syv is one of the current heirs of the Clear Sky Empire which rules over the Luminance continent. And he has vowed that this rivalry shall see its resolution with his generation.
