New Things
It's taken me quite a while but I have finally finished processing all of the goblin corpses. Now it's time to start from the beginning and process everything that happened earlier. I pull out the F Grade Magic Stone. I got a few different ones while taking down this village but this was the first one. I focus on the Bracelet of the Void.
<Consume. Power. Stone? Current. Stones. Available. Zero.>
Yes.
<Consuming…>
A light shines from the bracelet onto the stone and bits of the stone slowly get sucked into the bracelet until the light turns off and there is no more stone.
<Analyzing… Power. Stone. Value. 1. Current. Stones. Available. One.>
Hmmm. It seems they have different values. I pull out an E Grade Magic Stone from a Hobgoblin and do it again. After the light show I heard the results.
<Analyzing… Power. Stone. Value. 5. Current. Stones. Available. Six.>
Odd. From what I have learned after I Analyzed the monsters and the stones. Monsters only have a Magic Stone if their Magic Stat is above 10. 10 to 19 is Grade F, 20 to 29 is Grade E and so on. Their Magic capacity is usually random but mostly kept within the range of what the monster had as its Magic, minus a few points. I’ll need to test a few more when I manage to find some to actually see what the values are.
This time I focus on what's really important. I pull out an F Grade Magic Stone that I got from the other Hobgoblin.
<Trade Magic Stone for Point equivalent? Current Points - -18.>
Wha! Negative E… Later… Later… One thing at a time… Yes. The Magic Stone disappears from my hand entirely.
<Magic Stone Conversion complete. 0.01 Points added. Current Points - -18.>
Hmmm Im not sure what It will take but maybe unless it is an entire point it doesnt change? I try again with an E Grade from the High Mage.
<Magic Stone Conversion complete. 0.05 Points added. Current Points - -18.>
I only have a few left but they are all F and E Grade so I'll hold onto them until I decide what to do. I do however have one D Grade from the champion. Curiosity gets the better of me and I use it.
<Magic Stone Conversion complete. 0.1 Points added. Current Points - -18.>
All that for 0.16 Points? Well I guess it's just another way to get points for now. Be happy with that. On to the next thing I have to deal with. I opened the Quest Log.

I found what I was looking for but I'm confused. Why do I need to control it? I feel that went pretty well. Also if the Beast is a part of me how did it make those Quests?
<[New Quest Name]
[Goal]
[Reward]>
Wha. I can make my own Quests? I play around with it a little but it's not like I can award myself Points or anything so it seems to just be a feature that's used to visualize personal goals I guess? I also checked the Rewards that I got for the worded Quests but there was none. There was a Reward for controlling the beast though. It doesn't explain anything, it just lists all the Animal Manifestations I used in the fight earlier. I don't quite understand what the Beast Arts Skill is yet but I’ll work on it. It seems to bring feelings out of me so it seems like it will be fun.

Goblin Hunt - Easy - 13/200
Goblins are a general menace! Get rid of them!
(1 Point for 200)
Nice! It seems there were over 100 in the village. Still only getting 1 Point though. Hmmm… I need to practice with the new Skills and Magic I have now but I have done too much thinking already. I fly off and head towards some nearby hills.
Huh. I flew around the nearby hills but couldn't seem to find any monsters. I head to the next one and I can't sense anything in the forest below while flying there. I give up and just continue heading South. Eventually it starts to get dark so I figure it's a good time to settle down for the day since my Magic is getting low.
I was planning on using the Points I made from the Goblins to get Fire Magic to make camping easier but I still have this Fire Rod I bought from Marvo so it should be fine. I set up a campsite while copying from a book.
After going over the book again I decided to ignore almost all of the unnecessary stuff since I have some aches in my body. I ignited the campfire and threw in the Monster Repellent. Since my aches seem to be worsening I check my Status again.

Hmmmm. I Analyze my body and the Condition itself on my Status. Damn. It seems that you can’t do activities non-stop like I have today without rest. It doesn’t give me specific timings but maybe I'll take a break for every hour or two of flying. Well since I have to rest to recover from the Fatigued Condition, this time I set an Alarm for nine hours. I haven't slept for more than 5 hours before so we’ll see how this goes.
------
I’m stalking through the forest. Paws light as always. My black fur is phasing with the shadows. I hear a snap and stalk towards the noise. I see a goblin and rage overwhelms me. He’s in my territory! I would usually scare him off but he smells like the tribe I have warned off before. I pounce on him from behind and before he can even sense me I have ripped out his throat. Yes. This is it. I haven't killed for fun in a while, maybe I should do a sweep of my territory and kill anyone who is unlucky enough to have set foot in my domain.
I abandon stealth and sprint throughout the forest at full speed, barely stopping for each of my kills. Bite. Claw. Slash. Tear. Kill. Kill. Kill. Ahhh, this is life. All shall fall to me. Eventually I hear the noise. Damn. Maybe I should have been more careful. It seems I might have leaked my killing into its territory. I would usually whine and let him be but I'm am excited today.
I walk towards the noise, head held high. I have nothing to fear. If he displeases me he shall die today as well. He appears from over a hill. Liger…
------
My Alarm goes off so I wake up. That… was a very vivid dream. More vivid than the memory dreams I have… Something seems off so I check my Status but nothing seems out of place, I seem to have slept off the fatigue as well. While I am packing the tent I check the Quest Log to see which monsters I still need to hunt but for some reason one of the Animals has been removed in the Tame the Beast Quest. Maybe the dream has something to do with it? I need to find a beastkin who can explain all this to me. I enjoyed yesterday but if it's something that's going to keep happening I should probably ask someone about it.
Right as I have finished cleaning up my campsite I sense a presence. It seems different then a normal presence so I activate Stealth and head towards it. After a few steps I notice the way I stand has changed. I can walk normally if I want to but when I walk this new way I barely hear my own footsteps, I barely leave any trace of where I have stepped and for some reason I feel lighter on my feet, like I'm ready to move at any second. This is almost like the completed form I was learning from the book I got from Scout. I make a few small adjustments to the stance and keep walking. I keep adjusting until I think it's good enough.
Finally I turn a tree and see a… human? He looks odd. Weird patches of black across his skin and he is walking funny. I quickly Analyze him.

Hmmm. It seems that he is possessed by a demon. Well, I don't think I should spy on him. I wouldn't want to be watched while I'm out here figuring myself out. I extend my wings to leave the scene and as I put Magic in them to take off, the demon starts acting funny. The demon starts making weird jerky movements, more than usual anyway. He seems to be saying something but I can't hear him even with Extended Perception. I sneak closer to hear what he is saying but he seems to be getting worse. I hurry a few meters away from him and finally I hear his whispers.
“Where the fuck is that coming from?” He keeps whipping around looking around the place. “It feels like a fucking divine beast has sent his energy here.”
Hoh. What's a divine beast I wonder. He doesn't seem to be moving so I watch him for a while. Eventually he settles down.
“Is it fading out? Was it just residual energy? I should get going now it’s gone.”
Oh damn. It's gone. Too bad. I put Magic into wings again but he starts freaking out worse than before. Eventually he falls to his knees so I run up to see what's wrong with him. He doesn't seem to have any injuries so I Analyze him again and it seems that he is disintegrating inside the human for some reason. Eventually the demon fades away and the human stands up.
“Thank god that's over. Whatever Divine Being helped me!! Thank you!!” He then turns off and runs away.
That was weird. I wonder if divine stuff like that happens a lot. I haven't read much on the gods but I have a couple books, maybe I should read them tonight and see what that was all about.
